I read an article today from Arkansas I think. A shelter called the Police, the dog was a retired police dog adopted by his handler. Now the police office is a handler no longer & has most probably lost his job.idiot
The city is not gonna pay court fees and loose. It is the unfortunate greedy ways that work here. She is now requiring to vets to sign off that a spay/neuter was done on pet only. And she only sells to other breeders to keep intact.
Financials are hitting hard around here. Gas prices are so high. Hay prices are nearly unaffordable and the quality sucks.
They're starting to dump horses in the desert again. Rescues and shelters and ASPCA is overflowing with animals. Breeders should be taking back their animals but some can't afford to do it.
Labs. Yes and yes. Unfortunately my state sees animals as property, and once money exchanges hands you no longer have a say over said property. It only works to get the dog back from owner sold too. Not shelter. Lots of legalities
