Sneak peak of the next piece I'm working on! It's for a long-due order lol. Here's the static version of the step-by-step process: https://i1.lensdump.com/i/j7ffmP.jpg Stock used so far: https://www.deviantart.com/confussed-stock/art/Mountains-2-317912550 https://www.deviantart.com/confussed-stock/art/River-Estuary-173465590 https://www.deviantart.com/pipvl-stock/art/Waterfall-4-293233894 I'm not sure how detailed of an explanation to give, but here are the steps, roughly: 1. I start with a loose sketch. 2-4. Found stock, used perspective warp to bring the bottom half of the image closer to the viewer. 5-6. Loosely blocked in colors and vague lighting. 7. Duplicated the first stock image. Bottom layer set to gamma dark (a blend mode available on Krita), top layer is normal blend mode, but with ~50% opacity. 8. Second piece of BG stock. 9. Used cage warp to get it to be crescent shaped, so that it would align with the curve of the river. 10. Clone tool to more closely match the shape of the mountain to the original sketch. 11. Duplicate second stock image. Bottom layer set to overlay blend mode, top layer is normal blend mode, but with ~50% opacity. 12. Erase some parts of the stock to blend the two together. 13. Third piece of stock. 14. Cut the stock in half vertically and rearrange the two halves. 15. Another cage warp, but not very successful lol. 16. More cloning. 17-18. Color change using the color adjustment filter and an easy dodge layer to lighten the dark parts of the water.

Rumble Round 3: Best Friends (Revamped!) Full-size: https://i1.lensdump.com/i/jlzuQc.png Just a foal and pine marten helping each other pick apples, wearing matching apple blossom flower crowns :) The Unsplash stock I used for the flower field was deleted, so I took an hour or two to replace it and revamp the piece in general! Hand-painted the horns, flower crowns, some of the apples + branches, and turned the beech marten into a pine marten. It was pretty weird going back to an old piece to be honest. Will attempt to auction it, soon~ Edited at June 19, 2020 07:50 PM by Dense Moors

(Auction for the rumble piece I posted earlier is here: https://horseeden.com/forums.php?f=20&t=41334) Below is another WIP of a palette collab order with Toasty (she helped with the 3D model for the castle!) Hopefully I can make the castle less obviously CGI.... I think we've collectively already spent 15 hours on it. Will eventually include a pegasus!
