I've finally gotten around to uploading part 1 of the timelapse process for the Elysium piece! Can't get Youtube to work, so I've uploaded it to Patreon (seems to work anyway, and hope it's ok to do).

Managed to upload (part 1) of the process to Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/somewhereahorse/elysium-part-1 If anyone found this helpful/interesting, I can go ahead and upload the rest of the screen recording! It's been sped up like 4x I think. There's about several more hours I've recorded. Note: Not all of Krita’s windows were captured by the screen recorder—sorry about that! Also, I’m working on a brand new computer (with a new installation of Krita and none of my usual settings) that I believe desperately needs to be color calibrated.

:O that was so cool to watch a bit of your process Den! What do you use to record your screen?

Thank you both <3 I used the Kazam screen recorder (Linux-only). I have issues with the color on that computer though, so I'm considering trying a different Mac-compatible screen recorder for future pieces. Also, it turns out that the recording is sped up 8x. Second video that covers another 2 hours should be posted later this week! I'm currently working on a prize piece which should have presentable-looking WIPs up soon

Part 2 (the final part) of the screen recording of my Elysium piece is up! https://vimeo.com/somewhereahorse/elysium-part-2 This covers another 2 hours of my process, preceded by part 1, and is sped up 8x. Features some more use of cloning and painting. This is roughly followed by the process GIF posted a few pages ago. Hope you enjoy! It's my intention to screen record the entire process for future pieces, if that continues to be of interest to you all! (I won't be recording my process making the 3D models I use, however)

WIP of a prize piece for Sunset, who won an Artists Anonymous contest that passed. Speaking of, I'm interested in offering more prize pieces, potentially for giveaways too! Perhaps in a few months, after I've finished up this one, a collab, and a commission. https://i.lensdump.com/i/0K0Nza.png Video of the progress should be published soon! I continue to sketch out the pose of the horse before finding stock that fits my sketch, and I'm laying out general blocks of colors before looking for BG stock. That poorly rendered Blender model I made is a water wheel! I really wanted to push the conceptual side of things, so in future WIPs you'll see more elements supporting my interpretation of the goddess Fortuna. I'd also better tame those colors soon... Looks garish on this computer lol
