We would have the male servers, cooks, and when they weren't busy, the managers walked us out
Drunks and the messed up loved were I worked since it was open 24/7 😭

When I worked at the college bookstore
I would have security walk me out to my vehicle.
That's so scary
Not even pepper spray or anything.

I look forward to days off from this because yikesÂ…. I vent about it to my best friend because it can get rough.

Ah we weren't allowed to be armed in any shape or form, if you have a weapon on you during work hours you best hope the manager didn't find out or else it was automatic termination, we actually had a woman get attacked in our parking lot one night, scary 😬

Ok I can understand that then. We have them across the street and we hear them at night but we don't see them.

Second that, can't believe I stayed as long as I did at my first as a second to third shift waitress, the stuff I saw go down as young I was, us girls not being able to walk outside by ourselves once the sun set should have been my warning lmao

I worked graveyard shift at a cattle sale barn.
Feed crew.
I would be just as busy during the night as a day a shift.
And then the pack of coyotes that ran through the yard. That's always fun 🙄

That I am, luckily itÂ’s not my main job. Just something IÂ’m doing for this family.

Yeah I just sit here staring at a door if they wake up and come out I direct the back to bed or to the bathroom. If I need to clean up a mess from them I have to do that too. I do this until 4 am

Eh minesÂ….. got its cons like how creepy it can be. I take care of AlzheimerÂ’s dementia patient every few nights when their main family is too tiredÂ…. Pretty much a babysitter.

I wonder how she would do that. I feel like it was pretty complete as an ending. I wonder if I would have enjoyed it more if they hadn't mentioned it being set in 2020 lol

Little Thieves by Margaret Owen!!! I'm telling you guys, you all need to read it. I am in love. I loved it so much I bought a signed copy.
Edit: wanted to add, if you love female characters who are a little bit wicked like Jude and Zoya you will absolutely love this.

Anyone read The Unwanteds series? If not, I totally recommend! Found the whole series at a yard sale for $15, and read them all in about two weeks.

I have! It's been a while though, so if they've released new books I'm probably not caught up.

This sounds like what I need to read right now...
Currently reading You've Reached Sam(Dustin Thao)(I'm not depressed, you're depressed) and just finished The Cousins(Karen M McManus) and The Kiss Quotient(Helen Hoang) this week too. I'm kind of doing a YA marathon because I'm also reading Exodus(Kate Stewert) and was getting way to emotionally overwhelmed(but come to think about it, I've basiclaly just traded one sad book for another sad book so idk why I did that lol).
