Warning this is extremely long So I though I should finally tell everyone that it's finally official, I've got my puppy.. Sorta, she's only a week old lol So this has actually been a year's long journey that quickly escaleted following a visit to a pet store in early March. I was in love and had finally caught puppy fever. I decided I was finally mentally ready for a puppy after a year of researching many different dog related questions and going about my mindless breed researching. So a little backstory, I've never gotten a dog from an actual breeder, I've always gone the rescue route. However, I'm not one of those people that harp on about how you should rescue before buying. So this is entirely new to me. I didn't know what to expect and I tried doing my research by asking many different people online, as well as joining a few facebook groups to ask questions about breeders and specific breeds. This is where I had my first encounter with a breeder. At first she seemed very nice, kind, and understanding and answered any and all questions about herself, her dogs, and the general process. She already had a litter on the ground and had someone back out at the last minute so she had a spot open. Naturally I asked about it. She sent me a puppy application and I filled it out to the best of my abilities and it was accepted. However, after about a week I get a message from her saying she wasn't going to let me get a puppy from her. This shocked me as, from what I understood, my application for the litter was accepted, and she seemed to think I was a competent dog owner. I'm not going to get into specifics but it ended very abruptly and it left a very sour taste in my mouth. So now I was back to square one. This is now where I met the breeder of my baby girl Juno. She had just gotten the pregnancy confirmed and was still accepting applicants. After a few questions, and some good dialogue between the two of us, I asked for an application. I felt really good about this. She did all the things right, and seemed very excited about this litter. She accepted my application and I put my deposit down. Then it was the waiting game Finally nearing the end of my story lol On April 26th, my little girl Juno was born. She's a little chunky monkey and I honestly can't wait for all the things I plan to do with her. I might update this more as time goes by but for now, here's a couple of pictures of my 1 week old puppy Edited at May 6, 2021 09:37 PM by Spirtasi Whims

I'll try Timbie, depends on how many pictures I can get of her myself and from the breeder, she's apparently very camera shy lol
