Does anyone know who won the WWW KNN mare that was in the jail break auction? I was really curious who would win, but forgot to watch it finish ):

Okay, yes I've been training horses AD initially (if their ratings are about the same). I didn't know I should just keep training them AD after the pattern shows, I will do that! Thanks for helping

I may have created a monster by letting my cat go outside on a leash. Now he wants to go out and he escaped out the door and gave us a run for our money in the yard.

it doesn't change his production, but it shows you his strengths accurately. If you trained him in D, for example, he'd only go up on Mv, Int, and Str, o you couldn't match for an AD foal

Oh okay, I have a horse that's EEP and I was wondering what steps I could take to try to get an EEE foal from him. Does training him AD just give him a better chance of producing stronger foals?

if your breeding eventing horses(AD) then always train them in eventing, training them in SD will mess up their training.

If you find out what areas a horse is weak/strong, do you want to train the area that's weak or the area that's already strong?

So I do gymnastics, track and field, cross-country and such and I somehow popped my back out sometime in December/January. I've been seeing the school athlectic training during the school year, and was told that my back was out of alignment. I went in at least 3 times a week before practice so I would be able to move without a whole ton of pain even though there was some afterward. My back is still hurting and I have sorta gotten used to the pain usually taking a occasional advil not very often though. This weekend I went on a camping trip with friends and horses and my back got worse, I did some jumping over a log, and thought it was fine but my back is worse now, much worse I can't run for more than two steps without tons of pain in my back. I can walk but it hurts, bad I can't lay down and get up I have to roll onto my side then sit up. I then went in this creek that was really cold as it was direct snow run off and my back felt better for a bit and got even worse I can't really turn to the other side as it hurts so much. It is impacting my everyday life and has taken a turn for the worse. What should I do? Am I going to be stuck with this forever? Is it not out of alignment but something else? I just needed to get this off my chest as I don't have anyone else to really talk to abou this.

Oh- I actually think I know this because these exact things popped up with my grandpa, he's obviously significantly older then you lol, but when he was working he turned and it threw his back out of alignment, and it was super painful to turn and it gets more painful by the day. You will have to go to a chiropractor to put it back properly, there is a chance it will be sore the day after though. I am not kidding when I say go to the chiropractor though. It can get significantly worse if you don't and don't try to DIY your back into place as it could further hurt you.

To sum it up:
Get a Chriopracter >:c

I can't currently go, I have to wait until school starts up in fall, but I'm glad it seems like it's not a *permanat* issue? Its just getting really stressful when I can't even sit up normally x/

I hate to pry but why are you unable to go until school starts? I may be able to think of a different solution if I know why

The athlectic doctor I have been seeing isn't in school until then, and I can't afford a vist to a chiropracter at this moment in time

Ah- alright. You can try stretches for sure but I wouldn't recommend yoga because the wrong position could do more bad then good. I can't see what your back looks like in its current state so I can't be 100% but I do think it is out of alignment so I would recommend looking up stretches to do with a misaligned back

Agree with what Bluebonnet has said. Have you tried cold showers/baths? This would usually help manage any inflammation or pain.
Taking collagen peptides as a supplement might have potential to help & certainly wouldn't hurt to try.
These are my two go-tos with my chronic spine issues due to hEDS.

I have tried cold baths/showers/pools but everytime when I tried the cold it hurt more in the cold and then afterward for a long time, almost feels like it got worse

I live with scoliosis, which is the curvature of the spine, and it can hurt like hell at times in cold weather. However I will say getting to a chriopractor ASAP will help you as will doing stretches for a misalinged back. You might be able to find some low cost chriopractors or ones that work on a sliding scale. As for cold showers/baths, I don't recommend ice cold, but more of a room temp water. That will help ease everything more than a very cold shower or bath. Pain killers can be your friends at times. Only take one or two advil, tylonal, or Alieve, but only when the pain is super bad or as the doctor ordered. You could also do acutpunctior to help with the pain, but I only recommend that if you're not scared of needles.

So I have some good news and bad new regarding my back.
I have a annual checkup on Thursday which I forgot about thank goodness for google reminders lol, so I'll have the doctor look at my back and hopefully either tell me whats wrong or get me refered to a Physical Therapist or a Chiropracter.
The bad news though is that I may need to stop horse back riding, and I also will probally have to stop gymnastics for a while as well.
I'm stressed out, but relieved about how this whole situation is going.
