I hit 23 weeks on Wednesday. Just a few more weeks to go until I'm in my third and final trimester. In some ways, time has flown, but it's also dragged, especially when I start getting impatient to snuggle my boy.

Getting bigger fast. Thank goodness for comfy pajama pants with elastic waistbands. I can't sleep on my stomach comfortably anymore, which has been an adjustment, and heartburn has kicked in. But on the plus side, he is moving around non-stop (I get excited every time I feel it, lol), and Mr. Ven has been able to feel him kick!
PS: Due date was originally September 14, but at my last anatomy scan (20 weeks), they told me it's now September 12. Not a huge difference.

If he comes on his due date, that is. My mother was late with all three of her kids, so I wouldn't be surprised if I go the same way. We'll have to see. He's big, so I hope he doesn't stay in there too much longer than he needs to :P
And we have a middle name now, which is also his dad's name! He'll be Lincoln Christopher. |
