As a general reminder:
Bumping up threads is NOT allowed by the HEE forum rules Definition: In online forums and other online discussion spaces "bump" is the word used to describe an action (e.g. a message post) so that a particular thread is returned to the top in the list of threads. Some users may even post a message with only the word "bump" or any other nonsense letters to indicate they are posting only to bump the thread to the top of the list where more users will see it. We have some clarification. • You may make ending notification posts • You may have conversation in your threads • You may not post "bump" or other characters to bump up your thread. Hope that helps. :) Edited at February 14, 2024 12:45 PM by Cadence Farms

Can we get clarification on this? Because I feel like people will get accused of bumping now for something as simple as maybe a delayed response to compliments on an auction piece :/ People have lives outside of a pixel pony game like jobs or hobbies that may make it take a few hours to even a day to respond to something like that. Or are we not allowed to thank people for giving compliments on a piece now??

Another thing I have seen people question is end date reminders. Some have been warned about this and some haven't, so there's now a line of confusion.

Honestly, yes, with Versa on this - I will post end date reminders, as do many others on our art auctions, and no one has ever warned me about doing so however now I am extra confused as to what is allowed in this aspect or not >,<

Agreed. Especially in auctions where instead of a set date when it ends, people say it ends xyz amount of time after the last bid. In situations like those, time reminders tend to be extremely beneficial to anyone wanting to bid but unsure if there is any time left.

Agree with all of the above, I've always posted time reminders the day before and a few hours before my auctions end and have never thought of it as bumping, but then recently some people have been called out about that.

Honestly I feel like every comment from the OG poster - unless bid related (someone missed another persons bid or bid the wrong amount for MI's) is considered bumping.
would be nice for clarification as to what is and isnt bumping - just like clarification on veiled advertising.

Hey yall So this is hear because of me I got called out today for bumping by Art thread When all I did was simply state the auction had a few days left for bids. I was told this wasn't allowed and is against HEE forum rules I've been doing art for almost 2 years And I've seen other arts constantly do this So my confusion why this an issue now And why it seems I was the one to get called out When all the other arts do the same thing Edited at February 7, 2024 09:33 PM by Gemini Estate
