Oh yes! Very good! :D |
08:46:14 Kelsey <3 I listen to a ton of instrumental music when I'm out in the field for archaeology though, so that contributes a bunch to my music taste. |
08:45:01 My favorite quote is "All it takes for evil to flourish is for good men to do nothing"-Burke |
08:44:49 Kelsey <3 Me personally, I'd have to say: Ariana Grande, AJ DiSpirito, Britney Spears, Michael Giacchino, Meghan Trainor, whoever wrote the Zelda music, Melanie Martinez, and John Williams. |
08:44:24 Snow❆Gem @kelsey
I like bits of lots of others though. Just about every genre but really heavy mental and grunge types. Like classical and choir to 50s music to 90s hiphop and rap. LMAO But 80s pop is my favorite. |
08:42:52 Kelan/Rain Listen, the point is that when the bird has worn the mountain down to nothing, right, then- -then you still won't have finished watching The Sound of Music. |
08:41:59 Snow❆Gem @kelsey
Honestly, its a tie between Michael Jackson and Steve Perry. lol One has dancing music, and the other has some deep feeling music. |
08:41:53 Kelsey <3 I'm really excited to go see Wicked on sunday-
Like, extremely- |

08:40:00 Kelsey <3 What's y'alls favorite music artist? |
08:39:27 Snow❆Gem @myth
Your work is to dsicover your world and then with all your heart make it your world. |
08:39:13 Kelan/Rain "You don't have a side anymore. Neither of us do. We're on our own side." Is my favorite, but not very inspirational |
08:39:08 Kelsey <3 I also have a habit of naming my horses after Zelda & Marvel characters lol. |
08:38:34 What sort of inspiration are you looking for? |
08:37:58 Kelan/Rain Myth, I know right? All of them are just goofs or too long lol |
08:37:22 Crowley Rain I can't find any inspirational quotes 😂 |

Heather Storm | 23 | Eventing Rider | Bronze Buckaroo "Eclipse" and The Lovely Marisol "Etria" | Mentions: (Ind.) Avery, Meridith & Greyson, Open. "Thank you." Heather said kindly to Avery's compliment of her horses, she watched the woman walk off to greet the other two riders that have arrived. Heather would have just gotten her mare hitched to the same side of trailer but with some space between the two equines as she had just hung up Etria's half eaten haynet up for the mare to snack on. She went to her truck to open up her passenger side door to grab her pale beige hat to keep the sun out of her eyes. "Ok, now that I got the both of you out of the trailer. I guess I could try to lead you both in the stables? No, that's a stupid idea since I can't control both horses at once if something goes wrong." The brunette lightly shook her head while muttering to herself, placing her hands on her hips as she tries to think of something while watching her two equines eat their half finished late dinner. The young woman sharply turned on her heels to make her way over to the trailer side door of where her stored tack is, taking the keys out of her front left pocket before unlocking it then she opens the door before taking a step inside the kinda small space, double checking to see if she has brought everything that she needed from home that certainly didn't get left behind. Eclipse would be munching on his hay before turning his head with his ears perked as he had just watched his rider go inside the kinda small space to do something which the stallion let out a soft snort from his black muzzle. Etria would also be looking but the dapple grey soon resumed back to eating, shifting her weight as she cocks her left back leg a bit to relax as the mare was getting kinda use to their new surroundings. The brunette let out a nervous sigh while she'd rechecked her things for the tenth time? The young woman lightly shook her head before stepping back out of the trailer, turning her attention to her two equines. The young woman started to get pulled into her thoughts, trying to figure out on how to bring both of her horses into the barn to basically get them stalled without it becoming a disaster. Heather let out a sigh before walking over to her stallion first, taking his rug off carefully while the mischievous equine would be nuzzling her right thigh a bit as if searching the small woman for treats. "Eclipse, knock it off will you." The woman said this, playfully scolding her stud before messing up his forelock a bit then walks around his hindquarters to the other side of him, doing the same thing like she did to the other side of the black rug before taking it off to reveal his seal brown coat. "There, that probably feels a whole lot better huh?" She softly said to the said which gets a snort in return for a reply, lightly shaking her head before walking back around his hindquarters as she carefully folds Eclipse's rug back up neatly as she disappears into the trailer tack compartment. Merry Evans | 23 F | Eventer Location: Stable Yard | Tags: Avey & Grey Peregrine 🕊 Impersonations Halfway across the stable yard, Merry was caught up short when another woman called to her. Turning she followed the sound of the voice until her eyes gazed upon the black haired female as she approached. Hearing her say another name with hers, she looked over and saw that another person was standing close by attending to his horses in their trailer. It was also a bit off-putting to hear her full name used, she just wasn't used to it as everyone who knew her just called her by her nickname. "Hi, yes I'm Merry." She replied when her name was asked. She was a bit confused by the second set of questions. "I'm pretty positive that I included that information in my application." Merry responded a bit worried that she'd failed to do something that significant. "Actually, I never received my stall and tack room assignments in the Welcome Packet. Could you please tell me where my horses are supposed to go? I really would like to unload them as it's been a long drive." Merry asked. She was a bit worried by this simple mix-up but was doing her best to take calming breaths and remember everything was fine. Her horses meant the world to her and she wanted them to be as safe as possible. ᔕ⚝ᔓ Greyson Kerr | 24 M | Eventer Location: Stable Yard | Tags: Avey, Merry Firefly ➳ Rook
Grey's head snapped up when he heard footsteps tracking towards him. His name was called and he politely nodded affirmative. His interest currently was to unload the horses and get them lightly exercised as they both were on the high-strung part of the chart. In a subdued manner, he answered the woman's request. "My mare is Shade's Tempest, a Belgian Warmblood. My Gelding is Nevermore and is a Trakehner." "What stalls are they assigned to? I need to get them out of the trailer." His words were flat and without emotion. His grey eyes looked at the ground as he spoke. Sometimes he came off a bit blunt or like words cost money. He wasn't trying to be mean, he was just a quiet kind of person who was dedicated to his work. And that work was his horses. He was already concerned about his training schedule and the upcoming Trials on the circuit. He needed to keep his horses active and ready to tackle the next challenge but every thing could potentially be a major setback. This move already was taking three if not four days off their rigorous schedule. If he wanted to compete at his first Two Star then he needed to focus. It wasn't a silly competition lifestyle to him, it was his career. He had to work extra hard to even make it as far as he was. What he really needed was more training rides and catch rides to help pay for his current horses. Maybe if he could take on another sales horse...

Heather Storm | 23 | Eventing Rider | Bronze Buckaroo "Eclipse" and The Lovely Marisol "Etria" | Mentions: (Ind.) Avery, Meridith & Greyson, Open. The young woman finished up on what she was doing, feeling quite tired but that didn't really seem to stop her in the slightest. Heather walked over to Eclipse, deciding to lead him into the barn first while exchanging a firm but kinda soft pat on his neck before leading him off into the stables. Taking note that the seal brown stud was already getting amped up, causing the said stud to prance a bit at her side while being lead by the short woman. Without much warning, the stallion suddenly lunged at another stud with his ears back, teeth showing with his mouth wide open as a high pitch squeal came out of the seal brown which caught the brunette by surprise but quickly yanked on the lead to correct her stud while pulling his head away so he doesn't make contact with the other equine with every ounce of strength she could quickly gather up, quickly leading him to his stall. She'd felt quite embarassed by Eclipse's sudden action as he was sometimes mellowed out around another studs but he just wasn't having it today. After putting Eclipse up in his stall, she slips out then shutting the stall door before locking it. The brunette checked her stud one last time as he starts to settle then she walks down the aisle to exit out of the barn to fetch her other equine, Etria. Heather approached her dapple grey mare before gently patting her neck, untying her lead from the trailer before leading the mare into the stables to put her up since Etria's stall in the east stall which she seemed relieved to know that both of horses are not far from each other. Once the brunette has reached the mare's stall, she leads Etria inside before taking her halter off then slips out of her stall, closing the stall door while locking it then she goes over to the other barn to check up on Eclipse. Once she has entered the barn, she sees that he has settled in nicely before the stud's large head gently bump against her chest when he came into contact which earned a soft oof from the woman then she'd rolled her eyes at him before gently messaging the seal brown stallion's ears then she takes off his halter while grabbing his lead off the stall door. The short woman took a step back before walking off to try to find the tackroom to put their halters away, realizing that she needs to get her things, try to find her cabin while figuring out on how to introduce herself to her roommate and get both her stuff and both of her equine's stuff settled in as the woman let's out a soft groan of displeasure. "Okay, everything is gonna be fine even though I did run a little late getting here but it's fine. Hopefully I can find my room on time while getting my things together and put away before then..." Heather softly grumbled to herself, lightly shaking her head as she kept walking. After 15 minutes or more, Heather had managed to find the tackroom after putting both of her two horse's tacks away in her locker before heading back out to her vehicle to grab her luggage from the back seat. Taking her car keys out of her front left pant pocket before pushing the button to unlock her Jeep Gladiator then she opens the back door to the back seat, she grabs one duffle bag, slinging it onto her left shoulder before grabbing the other duffle bag as she does the same with her right shoulder. She reached back in again to grab her suitcase, carefully pulling it out of her car before setting it back down onto the gravel then shuts the car door before locking her car back up. Heather lets out a sigh, putting her car keys back into her pocket before picking her suitcase back up to carry it then she makes her way to finding dorm as the brunette walks over to the big house, already having the room number memorized since she had to read it over maybe over ten times to make sure that she didn't forget. Avery Dawnside | 22 | Grand Prix Rider | Keep Em Comin "James" and Dandelion Eyes "Dandy" | Relationship Status: Open - I smiled softly ''No shurry, You must have forgotten to include the breeds and show names of your horses, As I never did receive them''. I said with a small grin, trying to ease the fusion and hopes she wouldn't be upset. I gave a warm smile towards her ''Your stalls are Stall 6 in the West barn and Stall 4 . - I then turned my head to look at the young man beside her. A small grin on my face ''As for you young man, Your stalls are Stall 8 for your gelding in the West barn and Stall 5 in the East barn''. I said sharpley and turned back to the woman. - Damon Salvatore | 24 | Grand Prix Rider | Showing Like A Star "Lily" and Pure Magic "Alpha" | Relationship Status: Taken - I smiled towards Avery before turning back to my horse. I grabbed Lily's lead rope from the tack section on my horse trailer, I then walked proudly to the back of the trailer and unlocked it. Leading the beautiful mare out of the trailer and onto the flat ground. I led her towards her stall and placed her inside it.

Merry Evans | 23 F | Eventer Location: Stable Yard | Tags: Avey Peregrine 🕊 Impersonations Hmm, Merry thought to herself as she heard the other woman explain the situation. When the stall assignment was given out, she quickly jotted it down on her phone for reference. Merry waited until the woman's attention was given back to her before speaking. "Thanks for letting me know. I have Peregrine and Imp or Guarding Light and Impersonations respectively. Peregrine is an American Warmblood and Impy is a Selle Français." She said politely. "Now that you know who I, and my horses are - who perchance are you?" The twenty-three-year-old asked with a soft smile and slightly raised eyebrows. ᔕ⚝ᔓ Greyson Kerr | 24 M | Eventer Location: Stable Yard | Tags: Avey Firefly ➳ Rook
Grey raised his eyebrows at the mention of 'young man' as it was coming from someone who looked younger than himself, but kept any comment to himself. Hearing the stall assignment made him a bit hesitant as his horses were in separate barns, it would just be a hassle as any shared equipment would have to be hauled from one barn to the next. Oh well. He just wanted them off the trailer at this point. He nodded his head to show he heard and understood, and quietly muttered a thanks before heading over to his trailer. Firefly hadn't stopped whinnying every few seconds. Her call shrill and piercing as she tried to vocalize to every horse on the property or within twenty five miles it seemed. He took a few moments to grab an extra hay bag, full and ready to go, and a couple of water buckets from the storage area of the trailer into the East Barn. He set up Stall Five for Firefly first. Fortunately the stall was well bedded with fresh shavings. He filled up one water bucket with the farm's water, and the other with the water from the previous barn - to help acclimate the horses to the new water. He was always concerned if his horses were drinking and going to the bathroom. The trailer was set up as a Head-to-Head style but he had made each double stall into a single box stall so each horse had a larger space to travel in. He found that both of these horses did better in traveling longer distances this way. Shorter hauls or ones that have a lot of stops or turns, he would set them up in the stalls so they can have the sides to brace against. Grey lowered the middle ramp and walked up it to stand inside the trailer. Firefly was on the side closer to the gooseneck hitch while Rook was at the back. The mare took two seconds to acknowledge her human with a flick of her ear before going back to her ear-piercing scream. "Quit it Mare." Greyson murmured as he picked up the coiled teal and black cotton lead rope. With deft movements he clipped the mare's halter with the lead rope, let down the front stall bumper and without fuss led Firefly out of the stall and down the ramp. It was so quick that she didn't have time to make a scene until they touched down on the driveway. There she took a big breath and let it out in a whinny for all to hear. "Shhh, Fly. You're okay." Grey said quietly as he led the mare like a kite towards the East Barn. She pranced and danced beside him, clip clopping down the barn aisle until they made it to the freshly made stall. She swung inside and immediately gave the stall a once over then stuck her head over the lower stall door and nickered to the horses nearby. She was all talk today. Rook was the exact opposite of Firefly - in all the ways that she had been rowdy and flashy, he was quiet and aloof. He took everything in stride and really didn't care about checking out the new surroundings. He was a bit lively in his steps but that was because he'd been cooped up in the trailer for a long time and needed to stretch his legs. Greyson's next priority was to find his long line and a suitable place to let his horses work for a couple minutes on the lunge.

Avery Dawnside | 22 | Grand Prix Rider | Keep Em Comin "Asphalt" and Dandelion Eyes "Dandy" | Relationship Status: Open - I smiled softly as blue orbs gazing into the eyes of the young woman, a small smile playing on my lips as she asked who I was. I gave a small chuckle and looked to her then her horse, "I'm Avery....Avery Dawnside, the other of this barn", I said sharply and looked back at her. I turned my head as my gelding Asphalt gave a shirl whinnie.

Heather Storm | 23 | Eventing Rider | Bronze Buckaroo "Eclipse" and The Lovely Marisol "Etria" | Location: Big House, assigned room | Mentions: Open. The young woman would enter the house, looking around as it seemed quite cozy but having that very homey touch to it. She relooks at the paper after setting down her suitcase down next to her while her duffle bag is comfortably on her right shoulder. "Okay um, lets see...Room 2 is on the second floor or was it the third floor..?" The ombre brunette quietly said to herself while re-looking over the paper she got from the stable's welcome pamplet. She would re-read the paper in her hands that contain the information she needs. Once she understands of where her room is after reading it for the 5th time, she goes up the stairs to the floor where room 2 is after re-grabbing her suitcase. She goes over to the room, double checking the number on the paper before letting out a sigh, clearing her throat before going inside room 2 as she looks around once the young woman has stepped inside. The room itself gave a very cozy feeling, very welcoming in fact. The ombre brunette walked over to a bed on the right before setting both her suitcase and duffle bag down on the mattress. She opened the duffle bag up first, starting to unpack as she takes out some stuff before putting them in their own spot until she took out a picture frame that held an old picture inside it. Heather stared at it for a moment, it was a picture of her 14 year old self with her first horse, Rashka, a Grullo Roan Tobiano Appendix Quarter Horse Gelding dashing around a barrel at a competition that was held in Los Vegas. She gently ran her two fingers across the gelding's face, having a sad look in her eyes from the memory before placing the picture frame down on the night stand then she grabs two more pictures that were also framed. One picture is of her and Eclipse jumping over some obstacles at a advanced level Show Jumping Competition while the other picture is of her and Etria performing a canter pirouette at an advanced level Dressage Competition. The young woman carefully hanged those two pictures up on the wall next to her bed before she continues to unpack her things, planning on changing into her riding clothes later to give both of her horses some exercise to stretch their legs from the long drive here. Avery Dawnside | 22 | Grand Prix Rider | Keep Em Comin "Asphalt" and Dandelion Eyes "Dandy" | Relationship Status: Open - I chuckled at Asphalt, "Now I must be going, I got a needy boy to tend too". I said to Merry before turning on my heels and walking towards my Gelding. I got to his stall and grabbed his feed pale before walking towards the feed room to fill. Once I fillied it to the brim, I walked back and gave the needy Gelding his grain. After I finished with Asphalt, I made my way to Dandy who was my mare. I did the same for her as I did for Asphalt. - I noticed Damon off in the distance and my heart became warm with affection as I watched him with his horses. I quickly looked away when he looked at me to not be weird or look it. I sighed and walked to the small creek by the Center. Finding a nice spot under a oak tree and sitting down. I sighed and pulled out my book, reading a few pages while listening to the stream flow. - Damon Salvatore | 24 | Grand Prix Rider | Showing Like A Star "Lily" and Pure Magic "Alpha" | Relationship Status: Taken - I was busy tending to my horses Lily and Alpha, not even aware that Avery was gazing at me. I eventually caught her gaze and chuckled when she quickly looked away. "Typical...", I said to myself as I cleaned Alpha's coat before turning him out into the pasture.
