Kirra | Mare | 6 | Tobiano Buckskin | M; Scarab
.
Lowering her head with her nostrils flared she took in the fresh scent of the ravine air, her muzzle grazing along the cool running liquid before sipping at it. Her slender ears sharp on alert for any sudden noise that wasnt Scarab while she was in a vulnerable position, her thirst quenched she had to think about getting some food into her stomach now and was grateful Scarab had made the decision to stop here and fill our needs.
Wading through the shallow end her muscles tensed when the cool liquid splashed up at her sides with each movement.
.
Pulling her body up out of the ravine she shook off her body in an attempt to get rid of the excess water on the lower half of her coat, her tail getting to work repelling the bugs who now wanted to drink the residue from her fur. With a snort her muscles felt a little drained from the exercise that was walking in water, Kirra glanced over at the palomino stallion for a few moments observing as he kept guard of their surroundings and she did so too keeping an eye out on the areas he couldnt.
.
As her stomach made it known of her hunger she moved around a few steps with her head lowered as she sought out the best patch of grass beside the ravine, the grass was a good quality near the ravine from the flowing water but there was also more mud because of it in certain areas. Using her lips and teeth to rip up some of the greenery Kirra was happy to finally have some decent quality food unlike the barren lands she was living on before.
Peeking up at Scarab she had a grateful look in her eye, it felt as if the stallion had saved her from that horrible life she was in before although she couldn't be entirely sure of it yet as she didnt know him or what he was capable of.
