Sage groaned and waved the small dragon away. "Kayda, no, it's too early," he groaned from where he was sleeping on the ground. At the little dragon's insistence, he sat up with a groan and stretched, then winced when the cut along his chest stretched as well. "Wait...her memory is back? Just like that?" He was confused, and he was sure his face showed it. It doesn't help that I'm still half asleep, of course. I wonder how bad my bedhead is. Ah, oh well. He glanced over at Amber and blinked wearily. "The dragon isn't making much sense," he muttered. "Help explain...everything? About suddenly remembering everything after remembering nothing for...a while?"

Amber gave Sage a weird look "I forgot everything? You're crazy, you are!" She laughed nervously but continued skinning the meat she had hunted earlier. What is he on about?! I stayed with Kayda then I fell asleep...or was I knocked out? I ended up here though.. maybe I did forget everything?! Was I really out of it for that long?

"Here Kayda, c'mon leave him alone, let him sleep" she tried to say as calmly as possible.

He yawned and shook his head. "Nah, it's ok. I'm up now." He staggered over to Amber and plopped down next to her with a grunt. Ow...I always forget how much it hurts the day after I get stitches. "You were hit on the head pretty good around two days ago, and when ya woke up you couldn't remember anything for a solid 24 hours."

Amber sat in silence, not wanting to believe what he was saying. She continued skinning the meat and threw some over to him when he sat down next to her.

"You have stitches, be careful you idiot!" She had a smirk on her face as she said it.

Sage snorted and waved her concern away. "Eh, I'll be fine." He unsheathed his dagger and started to help with the meat. He let the subject of her memory loss drop, not wanting to push too much.

She put her skinned meat on the fire and lay flat on her back, looking at the sky. She picked up a little rock and starting flinging it into the air and catching it again.

"Was a really out of it for that long?" She asked suddenly.

She smiled to herself "yeah it made sense to me, I have gotten used to your gibberish" she chuckled slightly.
she sat up and place her head on his shoulder "sorry I forgot you, I would promise it wouldn't happen again but I can't guarantee" she joked

He chuckled. "Gibberish. That's a good word for it." Then he shrugged and grinned. "Besides, considering how often I've gotten myself hurt, I think we're somewhat equal by now."
