Peter drove towards the eventing venue. This was probably the biggest competition he had taken part in so far, although he was trying not to dwell too much on that. It might work against them if his mare sensed that he was nervous, but at least she did have more show experience than himself. She'd had a lot of success with her previous rider who had taken time off to start a family. Peter hoped he could do them justice. |

Jules led Trouble down the ramp, holding her breath as she looked at the arenas. She handed him to Alora, her working student who ws learning the ropes. She closed the back of the trailer and walked toward the temporarily stabling area. |

Peter parked up and spent a few moments just petting his dog Barney to calm himself before they got out of the vehicle. He headed round to unload Sapphire. She perked her ears, seeming excited to be here. Peter smiled, glad one of them wasn't scared. He got the mare settled and headed back for his tack, gritting his teeth a little as he lifted it. This wasn't a good time for his old injury to act up. |

"Alora did you grab my tack trunk?" she walked toward Trouble's stall and looked in, "No" she replied and walked out of his stall, closing the door. "It's fine, groom him and i'll get the trunk" she said and walked out toward her truck. |

Peter rubbed his arm cautiously. He hoped it wouldn't interfere with riding which was obviously quite different to carrying stuff. But this was one more thing to stress over. |
