DeathCore emerged from a thick wooded area. He had been out all night scanning the territory for any rival herds or any predators. As he came from the dark wood he reared up and whinnied to his herd. He galloped to a large open plain near the herd and began grazing. |

(Sorry guys I had been at work all day) Deathcore listened to the conversations going on in the herd. He was happy and content with the herd. He wondered about the new mare and if she would be staying. He hoped he would. DeathCore wasn't like most stallions. He enjoyed caring for and taking in hurt or weak mares or older stallion. He was testy on younger and fit stallions since it was one of the many ways he protected the herd. Although DeathCore enjoyed his herd. He wondered if he woudl ever have someone to share it with. |

Luna | Lone Mare (for now) | M: Herd, Stolen, Core (ind.), Open. Luna gave Stolen a kind but tired smile "Well, it's a pleasure to meet you, Stolen." She politely answered. The young mare had tried to get some rest but poor girl isn't really able to catch a break from how much interactions she was getting, along with how much that everything has happened in one day. She turned her head kinda away from the Stallion before laying her head back down on the ground, getting herself re-comfortable again. |

Core grazed for a couple hours. He noticed that the new mare, Luna, had found a comfortable spot. It made him happy to know that the herd had been so welcoming that she was able to rest. Just as he turned his attention to the herd he could hear what sounded like wolves howling in the distance, at least a couple miles from them. A couple miles wouldn't take long for wolves to travel, so he would keep an ear out for their movement in case of an ambush.

Bella had heard the wolves and freaked out, still a young mare, she wasnt use to hearing strange noises at night. As she stood up from lying down she raced down in the small valley/river and stayed there. Her heart was racing |

DeathCore heard the sound of hooves pounding and saw Bella running, it seemed she had been spooked by the wolves. Core trotted over to her and flicked his tail. "Did the wolves scare you?" He asked kindly. "I'll take care of them if need be. I'll keep you safe" he said with a smile. |

Bella looked over at DeathCore her stomach turning. "yes, i'm just not use to hearing them" she shrunk back when another started howling. |

"When winter nears they hunt more and are active. We just have to stay alert" he assured before letting out a soft whinny. "We just need to stay in groups of at least two for the time being." He pawed at the ground and snorted. "Take a deep breath and just keep listening for them, okay? Let me know if you see anything. I'll make sure we're alright" |

She smiled at (core) the leader and relaxed, finally feeling a bit better. She breathed in and realised she was quite tired. Slowly closing her eyes she let herself be taken into a short nap. |
