Peter had thought Jules was giving up but his eyes widened in shock as she remounted with no safety gear. Especially on the mare who'd been so mean yesterday.

"Im going to the XC course to warm-up" she wasn't even entered in this division but her head wasn't really right either. She nudged her forward toward course.
"What?!" Peter gasped "Jules, no!"
She picked up a canter, she arrived at the course and nudged her horse into a gallop.
"Someone stop her, please!" Peter begged frantically. He'd been worried enough about Jules' limbs, still uncertain if there was damage to her wrist, but now without the helmet or body protector there was way more at stake.

People looked at him and snickered, they walked past with thier own horses. Jules jumped a few logs freestyle, barely checking her strides. May seemed to enjoyed it, she flew not even letting her hind legs touch those logs.

Peter sighed when nobody helped. He started to shake.
She trotted back, dismounted and slung the reins over her head.

Peter didn't realise, on the verge of a panic attack with the terror of losing the girl he loved as well as his brother.
She looked around for him, confused. "Peter?.. what the heck?" she led May around trying to find him.
