She snorted and eyes him down, she cast a challenging glance at him. "We were coming to shove some sense into you, specifically you," She said, arriving a more serious look. "trying to be the big boss I see, fighting of the humans, your courage is greatly needed, especially for your herd, but if you go and do stuff like that, both our herds are in danger. Keep your stupid shows like that to yourself before we're all in barns being pampered and pepped." She stomped. Giving a loud huff and a stern glance toward Stormfire. She turned and started walking, back to the herd, then paused. "Also I'm not just a mare." She said, looking back with the same challenging look she gave him before. "Corvan let's go.." she continued walking.

Hera approached the growing crowd of horses, followed closely by Amaranth. Her immediate concern was Stormfire's treatment to the foal. Ears pinned back towards the stallion, she turned to her sister. "Can you do something about this? Things are escalating quickly." Amaranth pinned her ears back at her in annoyance and retorted, "You think I can reason with them? I already tried!" She shook her head hopelessly at her sister. Hera rolled her eyes and decided to stand behind her herd members, keen on listening in on the commotion. Amaranth sidled up to Arion, intending to back him on the matter at hand. She watched as one of the Mountain Herd mares left and called the strange stallion to follow her.

Baltix sharp pinch in her bum leg, she turned back to see if Corvan had followed, she lifted he'd leg up and ducked her head but wasn't able to conceal the pain. She threw her stare back to Arion and Stormfire, noticing two mares, both seemed a little shy. She hadn't noticed of they were there before but she kept her mouth shut this time.

Corvan nodded to Flame, but the sound of another horse caught his attention. A stallion had approached, looking rather angry. He tensed, preparing for a fight when he saw Baltix come. Corvan listened silently to the two's arguments, his ears flattened as he tried to keep his rage concealed. Do they really think we haven't encountered any dangers before?! They know nothing of the hardships we've endured from the hunters' attacks. Such thoughts swirled in his mind as he fought to control himself. Suddenly, he noticed Baltix walking away, and heard her words. This was too much for him, and he turned on Arion, roaring in anger, "Do you know what these humans are capable of?! Do you understand the wrath they could easily bring upon us?! For the sake of both herds, do not challenge these creatures! I have seen firsthand the horrors they have left behind, and I will not let that happen again!" His eyes were alive with anger as he stood, his desire to fight incredibly strong. He knew fighting in the midst of the prairie herd was very risky, but the thought that his own daughter could be killed by their own foolishness threw all caution away.

Baltix's ears pinned almost instantly, she had decided that even before anything happened, she was done with today(Love using this sentence).

"Corvan, leave it, now." She said, adding quickly, just to ensure he would leave. "Who will protect your daughter if you're here arguing?" She huffed and looked towards her herd, continuing to limp to them.

Amaranth finally stepped forward after hearing the mare's words, she agreed wholeheartedly that this needed to end, right now. "Listen to me when I say this, the immediate threat is the humans." She shifted her weight to nod her head to the retreating riders and their mounts. "Let's be rational here, we all care for the safety our herds. We shouldn't be fighting, it will leave us weak and vulnerable." The black mare hoped that the stallions would see reason and drop this confrontation.

Baltix heard the smart mare from the other herd, right now the only thing that mattered is peace, and keeping safe. She could feel something about tomorrow. the human on the Blood Bay usually was alone, today there was another.

She reached her home herd just as the sun disappeared over the horizon, she noticed after moving away from the hot animals she was standing by, it had gotten chilly, she shivered a little, enjoying the cooling. Her leg ached less, it was one of the reasons she liked cold temperatures. She laid down, taking weight off her leg. After nearly five minutes she finally dozed off.

"Nothing, nothing." Arion huffed to Stormfire. As he heard Corvan talking, Arion's ears grew progressively more pinned. "Oh? You think you know more than me what the humans are capable of?" He roared right back to Corvan "Guess why the fire started. Oh yeah, that's right. They left a campfire burning when the lightning struck it. They're responsible to what burned this entire prairie." He listened to Amaranth, and took a very tiny step back towards her.

Dusty awoke with the sound of loud voices. She spotted Flame, Baltix, Corvan, and Arion first. Baltix and Arion were bickering. Then Stormfire cantered up and spoke to Arion. Arion replied and continued to argue with the Mountain Herd members. Hera and Amaranth and gone to the crowd of horses, Amaranth trying to speak reason. Arion took a very tiny step back towards her. Wonder what that's all about. I'll ask Hera later. Like, tomorrow since they're all probably going to be cranky after this.

Evela was still enjoying the rain when she heard voices. Her gaze shifted to where the voices were coming from, and when she saw her father there, arguing with a group of horses from the prairie herd, her eyes widened with fear and shock. Why is he so angry? He might get hurt if they fight him! She thought anxiously, watching the other stallions, afraid that they would attack her father. I have to help him! She tried to gather up courage as she began to walk towards the group. A sense of haste quickened her steps, bringing her to a trot, then a canter. Very soon, she approached the area, passing by a few horses she did not know. As she came closer, she slowed down slightly, bringing her brisk canter down to a quick trot. She moved closer to her father, and, seeing that he was about to charge, spoke to him in a trembling voice. "Dad, please don't fight. I don't want to lose you like we lost mom." She said, not caring who heard it. Her focus was only on her father, who had turned his head in surprise. She took another few steps forward, staring at him with scared and pleading eyes. "I can't lose you too."

His mind was filled with rage at the stallion's response, remembering how the humans had decimated his own herd, and images of Aria lying in that fateful valley, bleeding and dying, flashed before his eyes. Shaking his head in an attempt to get rid of the memories, he tensed his body, preparing to charge. He lunged forward at Arion when he suddenly heard a voice. It was small and faint, but its familiarity immediately stopped him in his tracks. Shocked, he turned his gaze to his daughter, who had until then been unnoticed, and stood there silently as her heard her words. To others, her words may perhaps have had no effect, but for Corvan, they cut deep into his soul. Trying to keep tears from forming, he came up to the young filly and nuzzled her, completely forgetting about the other stallion. He simply stood there, comforted by her presence and grateful to have such a daughter to love.
