Saphire took off in the direction of the other foals, skidding to a stop beside Willow.

Stone shoved Gem aside when the wolves came out then galloped up with Tex and the filly. He kicked one in the eye, making it shrink back. He helped Tex then reared, barreling down on a wounded wolf that had tried to attack the colt. He bucked and kicked.

Gem moved a little but she couldn't go any further. She spun around and ran straight into Tex, stopping for a second to look at his wounds. She grabbed his mane and pulled him from the fight then going back for the filly who was also wounded. Stone had gotten one to go away but he was still fighting the other two. When one ran the other two noticed and ran away too. She watched him collapse from exhaustion. She trotted around, grabbing miss and other grass type herbs before placing them on the foals sides. "This will help. Just stay still" she demanded quietly. She trotted over to Stone and did the same thing.

Tex reared as a wolf came barreling at him. It hit him in the chest and he toppled over, feeling sharp fangs on his flanks. Whinnying in pain and anger, he kicked it away, relieved when the wolves started leaving. He allowed himself to be tugged back by the new filly, trembling slightly from the new pain radiating from his wounds. He lowered his head in exhaustion. "Is everyone okay?" Tex finally asked, his blue and brown eyes flitting around the group that was still there. The new colt (Stone) looked tired and hurt, but okay. The new filly (Gem) looked fine. Everyone else had thankfully left, as far as he could tell. He shook his wavy mane with a wince and walked over to the river, taking a drink before splashing water on his wounds, hissing at the pain. Everything hurt, but he was glad no one had gotten seriously injured.

Willow stayed between Sapphire and Lismore, she looked out worried for the rest of the herd "So much for the move to the valley plan" She whispered to herself, she grew more anxious when half the herd still hadn't come back, she looked at Lis "Umm... Lismore? When can we go back? I hope all the members are safe... Now we DEFINITELY cannot return to our parents..." She said with a heavy sigh, her head hung low, she wanted to go find everyone but was too scared to go out alone

_________ Nala

The golden filly watched from a small hill in the trees, she thought for sure those foals were all going to be dinner, but was highly surprised to see them standing. Nala cautiously walked out from her hiding spot into the clearing, to where the two perlino foals were "Hello umm... Are you guys okay?" She asked looking at the three who were still remaining

______________ Isabella

She watched, eager to spot her new friends -Ugh I should of stayed with them!- Isi thought to herself pawing the ground and sniffing the air by the cave entrance. After she was sure the wolves hadn't followed she turned to Starlight who didn't look so good "Starlight? What's wrong?" She asked edging closer to her "Ouch that looks bad- Wait are you going to die!?" Isabella started to freak out

_______ Starlight

Starlight licked at her wounds to try and get rid of the blood, but it hadn't stopped yet, she stopped licking because it was making her feel dizzy. Star looked at Isi and shook her head "Nothing, i-" She was cut off by what Isabella said next "What? No! I'm not dying! Jeez it's not THAT bad. I just need some herbs to help with the pain, but I'll need to wash it in water as soon as I can, for now could you just get me some herbs please?" She asked readjusting to lay down

She nodded "Oh okay.. Uhh yeah sure I can! Just sit tight Starlight" Isi said as she cantered out of the cave to go find the herbs, coming back and applying them to Starlight's leg

____________ Starlight

Starlight rolled her eyes with a snort "Well where else am I going to go?" She asked sarcastically with grin to entertain herself while Isi was gone, she smiled when she saw her come back. She winced at the pain from the herbs, but when she looked down, the bleeding had stopped, she smiled at the pinto Filly "Thank you Isabella, see? I'll be better in no time!" She smiled brightly

After washing the blood away so the wounds didn't look as bad, he found some Marigold and applied it. He then found extra and trotted into the woods, trying to find everyone. Soon he crossed a scent trail, but he didn't know who it was. He followed it to a cave, where he saw Starlight and another filly. "Are you both okay?" He asked, dropping the Marigold. "Starlight, if you apply this herb, it'll make sure the wound doesn't get infected, and lower the pain scales." He offered, ignoring the pain in his sides, where the wolf had bit at him. He swished his wavy frosted tail, glancing around. "Do you know where anyone else is?"

Gem looked back at the colt as he walked to the stream. She shook her head then lowered herself to the ground beside Stone. He leaned back against her.

Isabella glared at the cave entrance as the new colt came in "You... Is Gem and Stone okay?" She asked shooting to her hooves

__________ Starlight

Her ears perked towards the cave entrance when Isabella started getting skittish trying to listen, a soft smile rose upon her face when she saw it was Tex, and that he was still alive. She stood up and hobbled over to him "Yeah, we're okay... Are YOU okay?" Starlight asked, a hint of worry on her face as she walked a circle around Tex, examining his body "You're hurt... Why didn't you all run when I fought the wolves? Now you're hurt because I was unfocused..." She said sadly, a massive guilt over took her thinking, she looked down at the marigold that Tex brought in "Thanks, I don't think I feel like having a infected leg this time of year!" She said putting sarcasm in her voice, but she wasn't really feeling the joking vibe she usually did, Starlight laid down again and used the marigold on her leg. Starlight glanced up at Tex and shook her head "No... I don't, I was only able to locate Isabella" She stated looking past Tex at the entrance, her mouth beginning to pout "What if they're hurt? Or worse..." Starlight muttered trying not to cry by the events

Starshine who had been wandering for awhile after slipping away from his fathers herd had stumbled upon a scary scene and hid in some grasses that reached his belly by quietly lowering himself to his knees. His dark brown eyes watched then he was just about to rise when he saw another approach the ones still there.

Flicking his tiny ears he stood up on his long legs and decided he was not going to cower like a rabbit! Stepping forward his white stockings flashing he prepared for the unknown the only way he knew how by looking it in the eyes and walking steady...though truthfully his heart was racing like he had just outrun his mother who was known as the fastest in his parents herd!

Stopping in full view he waited to let them talk as he didn't want to be rude what would grandmother think of that!

Nala felt bad for the foal herd she had disrupted, some were hurt, some ran away, but there was nothing more she could have done. She watched the two perlino foals lay next to each other and lowered her head "Is there anything I can do to help?" Nala asked, her gaze catching sight of another foal who came out from the tall grass, she hadn't seen him before, he didn't look like he was apart of this herd, she slowly approached him "um Hello... Are you okay?" She asked tilting her head slightly
