Shay got Edge and walked him over to the Advanced group, he was walking nicely and listening to the commands, but anyone could tell he was ready to go and would go jump anything with no objections.

Amelia- - Amelia saw shay come over. "hi!" she said, grinning. "lovely horse you have there." she patted her grey stallions neck as she spoke. - Miriam- - "right. now tat you are all in your groups id like you to take turns riding over the 3 jump sets. i have 3 crosspoles for the beginners, 1 crosspole and 2 uprights for the mediums and 3 uprights for the advanced. but i warn you, it gets harder." se said. "oh and if you think your horse cant deal with the commotion, just quietly walk him outside until its your turn." she watched as the horses and riders lined up. - moon - "nah, you will be absolutely fine. just jump as well as you can, and be happy. no instructor would dislike you then!"

(Whos in the medium group?) Lindsy - "Well, should I go first?" She heard nobody talk. "Ok then, I guess I am first." She got venus in a canter and started to approach the jumps she took the cross rail and the first upright but she kept knocking down that oxer. She dismounted and put the pole up. She re-mounted and rode venus back to the start.

"Hey!" She said as she watched the girl and her horse. "Thank you. Yours is gorgeous." She said. She realized that she was first to go through the advanced course, She nudged Edge forward and he flew over the three jumps with ease, his striding was off for the last jump and so he had to take a long spot to make it, but he made it. They trotted back to the group.

Amelia -- "thanks! great round there." she said as Shay and Edge came trotting back. "okay, my turn!" they cleared the jumps easily, flying over them gracefully. "ill set them up a little higher, thats what miriam said to me." she dismounted, and went t set the jumps up. she set all 3 uprights to 90cm, and gestured for shay to go.

Lindsy - Being the only one in her group she tried again to do the oxer but still knocked it over. She did not know what to do so she went to Miriam. "I keep knocking over the oxer, can you help me?"

"Thanks." She said as she watched. "Nice run." She said to the girl. Shay knew that as the jumps grew Edge would do better, he tended to struggle with the easy jumps and thrive with the bigger ones. Sure enough, they went through the course and Edge did good over all the jumps, he flew over them gracefully and efficiently.

Amelia- -- "Good round too." She and moon leaped over the uprights, like a nimble deer with a feather as its rider. "Want to set them up?" Miriam -- " you breed to fix your approach. Start at a steady canter with heels down and hands steady. Give him a good zap of energy on the first two jumps, through make sure you get the striding even. And keep your chin up and your shoulders back. Try now.'

Lindsy - "Ok." She did exactly that and venus flew over the jump and did not knock the pole over. "I did it! I mean, you did it venus" "Thank you."
