Tex could tell none of the Foals cared that he was even alive, so he walked to the side, away from them, near the trees. He then waited, his head dipped slightly. He wished he could find a home here, but so far all he got was rejection, wolves, and one or two nice foals. Mostly Starlight, but Willow had shown some kindness as well. Heaving a sigh, he leaned against the tree slightly, staring out at the forest and waiting for Starlight to return.

Willow nodded feeling a little better "Oh okay, well I'm not the strongest fighter so maybe you're right" She said offering a smile back, she followed, audits alert for anything, she sped up a little when the cave came into view "Sapphire!" She squeaked happy to see her twin was okay as she pranced in and greeted everyone

______________ Starlight

She walked along as fast a she could, glancing at Oak "Are you okay?" She asked nudging the filly's neck gently. Finally, after 30 minutes the cave came into their sights "Over there! That's the cave" She said to the others, most of them rushed passed her and fleeted into the cave, Nala following keeping a eye on Starshine.

Starlight smirked at Oak "After you" She gestured for the paint filly to move forward

Gem noticed that Tex seemed sad, so she pushed down her thoughts and pulled herself to her hooves. She hesitantly walked over. "You're brave" she said to him. "Im Gem. My brother is Stone" she murmured then looked up at him.

Oaks flank was.drenched in sweat she paniced and her mind went blank as wolves atacked them she just ran knowing some of the goals got hurt she went looking for herbs she saw a bush move before terror spread across her face as a small fox limped out of the bushes its leg torn and mangled she looked at it before using her neck and lifting it on he back she walked back to the herd "dont freak please he won't hurt you" she spoke calmly as she walked out of the trees the injured fox laying on her back

"Yeah I think you are right" Starshine said as he watched the others and the injured one.

A cave he thought might be good since they were foals and the wolves proved even the adults did not always win. Shivering a bit at that he stretched his back leg out before bringing it up and itching his ear. He always thought it was funny how the adults made it look so hard but it was wicked easy! Snorting he sighed and looked up hoping it was going to be fun and safe with so many foals!

Tex glanced up as the filly approached. He still hadn't caught her name- maybe now was the time? Before he could speak, she did. "Oh- thanks... borderline stupid, but sure." He smiled faintly. "Nice to meet you, Gem. I have a feeling you already know my name is Tex- well, actually Almanzo, but everyone calls me Tex." He answered, his small ears pricking slightly. He glanced back at the forest before looking at Gem, his one blue eye sparkling more than his chocolaty brown one. His gaze then flitted to Starlight and the other foals as they approached, but he said nothing, just glad they were all alive.

Gem nodded a little. "I did already know your name, but now you know mine" she she watched as more foals scurried in. She looked around then back at Tex. "Thank you for saving me by the way" she mumbled. "Stone is mad at me but at first I just wanted to help. They were bigher than I was expecting" she looked away, ashamed of her stupidness

Willow nodded to Sapphire "Yeah I'm okay! I stayed with the leader the whole time so we didn't get hurt" She reassured with a deep breath, happy to be alive for another day

__________ Starlight

She looked at Oak before going into the cave, she saw Lismore and Willow and smiled "Glad you guys are okay" She said with a slightly nervous chuckle "Especially you mister leader" She snorted tossing her head, she glanced at Tex making sure he was okay, she was glad to see everyone there. She walked to the back and played down tired, she'd wait and rest till the herd had to move or Lis made a announcement, or someone needed her

She walked over to Stone who still seemed mad "Hey, Gem told me what happened, I wish I stayed to help. But please don't be mad at her, by what I heard she was only trying to help" Isabella said, her head held low

Saphire nuzzled Willow then stayed right at her side. "I'm not leaving without you again" she said

Stone looked up at the filly. "I'm not really mad... I'm just confused on why she suddenly feels the need to care for me. Now her legs are scraped up and it's all cause I didn't stop her in time" he glanced away from Isabellla

Tex smiled slightly. "Good thing. Now you're not just the new filly." He joked quietly, then glanced at her. "I barely did anything. Also, you did what you thought was right. I understand Stone's frustration, as I don't like seeing anyone hurt either, and it must be much harder with the one you love, but I also understand your intentions. You saw, I quickly jumped into battle for horses I barely even knew, so I completely understand you wanting to help your brother." He said quietly. "It's not my place to give out information, though. I dunno much." Tex laughed lowly.
