Ranger wrinkled his nose as he got flicked in the face with a tail. He watched Mini zoom ahead, his face reading *challenge accepted*. Ranger bolted forward like a shot out of a cannon, veering to the inside a little so he was running the inside track instead of the outside. He stretched out longer than Mini, being taller than her and having a longer reach, flying across the ground. His ears perked and expression goofy, he pulled up neck and neck with Mini. "There's a handsome stallion behind you." Ranger teasing before hitting the brakes, shooting to the side, doing a slight swerve and being at her other side in less than a second

She stayed focused as he did his little stunt. She shook her head and thrust her head forward, forcing the rest of her body to go faster. To any other horse she would have looked like a blur. She still wasn't at maximum speed yet, but she was getting close "What handsome horse? He won't be handsome after I'm done with him!" Mini talked over the wind as she pulled the rest of her speed out and flew forward, spraying dirt on him in the process. She was further ahead now and still going strong

Ranger was not at full speed yet, but he was getting close. He guessed that Mini would win by a hair or so... well not win, but you get the picture. "Bah! This handsome horse, and I'm handsome covered in dirt or not thank you very much." Ranger snorted loudly, swerving to the other side again and galloping even faster. He stretched out even more, his hooves pounding the ground, dust flying up. Ranger went even faster and came almost even with Mini.. about a head behind.

She walked up behind them and snorted silently as she watch Ranger. The mare really just couldn't help herself. While, she usually hated stallions, this one seemed real.

Mini snorted and gave one last shot of speed before she slowed down, panting. "...Nice... race..." she dropped to the ground, rolling. "...your fast" she picked herself up and bumped him with her nose "how are you so fast?"

Ranger grinned as Mini slowed down. He knew if he tried to kill himself he could have gone a bit faster, but he didn't want to push himself that hard without a proper warmup. Ranger dipped his head, not breathing hard at all. "It was my pleasure." Ranger said cheerily, his chest heaving slightly for a couple moments before he could breath easily again. "Well my bloodlines are part of it, but also the fact that I used to race every single day. I pull logs up hills and run through water to strengthen my muscles." He answered truthfully, shaking his pelt and wading into the water. Ranger then rolled in the shallow water, washing off the dirt and standing back up, his coat now gleaming in the sun.

Mini followed and stepped lightly into the water. She shook off and watched as he rolled. She looked around the field. Mini shorted and took deep breaths before returning her breathing to normal.

The mare walked a little closer, making sure not to seem as if she was spying, as she was. "Hey Ranger." she softly said to the stallion.

Angel turned to see nothing there. She was confused was she hearing things? She shook her head and wandered out to the jumps. She cantered around the large areana she nickered a couple of times before jumping a couple. She was going to jump the biggest jump as the humans found her. She had jumped the jump and after she felt the ropes fall on her neck. "Not again" she mumbled as she was lead back to their camp. human (bob) pov: Bob was talking to his comrades " I say we train the mare in jumping. She has natural Talent" he boasted his comrades nodded and as they made it back to camp and put the mare in the round pen bob went inside his cabin and had a nap

Ranger shook off his pelt again and turned his gaze sideways to see the mare from earlier. The one he had side eyed while racing because she had been watching them a good chunk of the time. -You kinda suck and making it seem like you're not spying- Ranger thought, but said nothing about that. "Hello! How are you doing this fine day?" He asked cheerfully, walking out of the water and onto the dry bank
