Elaine let out a laugh as she passed him. "Last one back has to make dinner!" She calls out, spurring Grace on further as they neared the stables

"Anything for you, love!" He called as he attempted to catch up. As they pulled up to the stables, he dropped off of Treasure and almost pulled Elaine off her horse and kissed her passionately. Laughing again, he set her down, but stayed with his arm around her waist. "Let's untack and have some food, yes?" Edited at November 4, 2024 08:08 PM by Blue Diamond

Elaine nods, squealing as he pulled her down from her horse. She then walked Grace into the crossties and untacked her. She put the gear away and put Grace back into her stall with a cooling blanket.

(is riot back) caleb was still on his trail ride and was cantering through the bush. he was glad he could ride whiskey and would be rounding up the cows when he got back. caleb would use whiskey to train dune to ride western because whiskey was a professional western show horse.

(I appologize for not posting!) Amira turned out Mateo in one of the free pastures. He was retired, thus only went on leisure rides and didn't have to be lunged everyday. Amira then took Matty over to one of the round pens, lundging him in order to get a little bit of that energy out.

Jack followed Elaine to the tack room, putting his tack away as well and grabbed a cooling blanket that said: '2020 National Champion Cutting Horse AQHA' and put it onto Treasure. After putting the horses away, Jack picked up Elaine and kissed her again as he cradled her in his arms. He then set her down as they were nearing the cabins. "What should I make for dinner tonight? You won the race, so i'm keeping up my end of the bargain." He explained, "How about pad thai? Do you like pad thai, cause I make it really good." He opened and held the door for her, letting her walk past. Once inside, Jack walked immediately to his bedroom, quickly closing the door to get dressed in basketball shorts and a fresh t-shirt for bed. He went to the kitchen next, and started making dinner. "How did you like our ride? I was going to do some sorting and cutting practice tomorrow at one of the ranches nearby. I'm friends with the son of the owner, so he offered for me to come over whenever I would like. So? Will you come? If not, that's fine." He asked Elaine.

Elaine giggled as he lifted her and kissed her again. She loved how he easily lifted her. "Pad Thai sounds good" she says. She then scrolls through her phone to get a text from her parents. "My parents want me to visit next week" she tells him, with a sigh. She was unsure whether or not she should invite him because he'd be bombarded with her mother's constant questioning of him cause she was afraid he'd like her just for the fame. As he spoke again, Elain focused on Jack. "The ride was nice" she says nodding. "I'll come" she agrees. Elaine felt her phone ringing so she picked it up. It was her mother. "Yes, mom. I'll come visit... yes... uh huh... I'll take care of Prom when I get there, yes" she then hangs up. "Sorry about that, that was my mom" she tells Jack. Edited at November 4, 2024 10:16 PM by Hudie

"Who's Prom? Or do you mean the dance? I would like to meet your parents. Isn't that kinda customary?" He asked

"Prom's a horse" Elaine said laughing at his confusion. "You might know her by her registered name of CH Promises Never Kept, one of the top show jumpers of last season" she said. "The thing is my mom is gonna be watching you like a hawk. She doesn't think anyone wouldn't marry for the fame"
