| Awh. That's good. Knock on wood, I've never had an eventful backing. All the horses I've backed have been rocks. Today was actually the 'worst' start I've had, we only walked three steps and usually we do a full walking lap around the ring and start establishing steering, but this pony was feral and untouchable less than two months ago so I was more than happy for those three steps |

| Puck I started my Appendix Gelding at 2 ½ years old... he was great. wasn't the brightest star but he was a good start. |

| Yeah I have no desire to do that 😂 I was not getting on him until he was cool with me standing on the mounting block, leaning over his back, and then jumping up and down on the block flapping my arms and being an idiot. If he can't handle that, he can't handle being ridden. But he could handle it so he got sat on today <3 |

| @Puck, look at him go! And he was calm! Thank you so much for not just hopping on him and being a bronc rider. There is a trainer who does that in my area and it drives me nuts. If they are bucking, they aren't ready to be ridden. |
