Flare woke up to a splitting pain in her head "go figure," she muttered "i was shot after all." She tried to sit up only to exhaust herself. She collapsed back breathing hard. She could hear a gun go off and her heart began to race causing the monitor to beep franitcally.

Diablo knew he couldn't leave a dead guy in Tom's house, so he grabbed the body and dragged it out to the woods. It could get eaten by coyotes for all he cared. Coming back in he went straight to Flare. Her blood stained his dark shirt, and an extremely concerned expression painted across his face. "You need to stop almost dying." He commented, looking relieved she was awake. "How you feeling?" Diablo asked.

"awful... oh and um about me stopping almost dying that might be a while a lot of people want me dead" she said she was being dead serious(get the pun lol). "Also am i allowed to read or watch a movie or something? I'm bored out of my mind." she asked softly

Diablo sighed slightly. "Awful makes sense." He commented, snorting slightly at her comment. "Of course. Do you have a preference on movie, and on book? Tom has a lot, but I want to know what to get you for books." He asked, grabbing a TV remote and handing it to her.

"yeah I read fantasy so, like Harry Potter or Lockwood and co would be great." Flare said softly

|
|

"Tom is a Harry Potter fanatic so I believe we can find some." Diablo smiled slightly, walking over to a bookshelf and scanning it before moving into another room. He brought back the first 3 books, knowing there was no way she could get through all of them in a day or even two. Plus, if she had read the first one sooner than the rest, she could start on the second. "Here you go." Diablo set the books beside the couch, content to help her out and be the servant for a while.

Flare smiled something she rarely did "Thanks, I have a question do you know where my son was buried I'd like to visit his grave after I recover... If i ever do" She said the last part so softly, but she knew Diablo probably heard her. He seemed to know exactly when to show up in order to keep her out of trouble.

Diablo blinked a little at the question, absent-mindedly running a hand through his hair like he usually did. "Yes, I happen to know where he was buried. It isn't too far from here, actually." He answered slowly, carefully, picking each word. "You will recover. I can't say anything about not getting hurt again, however." He snorted a little, but his words were geniunely meant to help.

"yeah you're probably right." Flare whispered, "and thanks for everything you could just leave I know i'm probably making your life harder, but you choose to stay and that means a lot to me." Meanwhile Taylor Flare's best friend ran into Jessica harper. "oh great" she muttered

Diablo let out a slow breath, tilting his head a little at her words. They mystified him a little, but then again, Flare obviously hadn't been trained like he had. "I would never leave an injured person, whoever they were. In any case, I made my own life harder when I decided to take revenge instead of other options. And lastly, with all the times we've been spending together invulontarily, I'm kind of stuck with you. Sorry for your loss." He joked a little, his eyes out the window instead of focusing anywhere else. Through cryptic jokes, Diablo was trying to say he liked spending time with Flare.
