Mackie looks at him and said " I don't need to be protected " as she growls before Cindy grabs her and pulls her to the opposite side of the bar and said " listen to him girl " Mackie rolls her eyes and said " you can't tell me what to do there is things in this world you don't understand and it not like I am in a pack really so I don't care if I die " as she growls and holds her knife in a fighting mode but really she was scared she hasn't fought since her parents died and that was very long ago

Ares watched as Cindy try to calm Mackie down, hearing her say she wasn't in a pack stopped him in his tracks. Shes a rogue ? Surely she has a family? Ares spoke to his brothers through the mental link, walking over to Mackie. 'We're not just trying to protect you, we can't have our new spot full of bad men now can we?' he said as a joke. With a loud thud, Ares turned to find one of the drunk men on the floor. The second man immediately turned to grab Apollo, and was met with a heavy elbow to the face. 'Mackie, Cindy we should go. This is not safe here.' Ares said, gesturing to the back of the bar.

Mackie looks at him then at Cindy before grabbing a hold of Cindy hand then dragging her to the back and out the back exit door then said " okay we need a plan and and a quick one " Cindy said " probably call the cops " Mackie said " probably not they won't want to deal with this kind of mess " Cindy nods and said " yeah I would agree so boys what are you going to do about it "

Apollo looked at Cindy, "We can handle them for you if you want." Without saying any words, all four brothers stood, grabbed the drunk men and dragged them out the front door. The man who had been behind the bar swung and punched Achilles in the jaw. Without a second thought, Achilles was slamming hits into the idiot, breaking his bones and sending teeth flying. The guys friend tried to jump in but was boxed around by Atlas. Ares watched from the front door, leaning his shoulder against it. "Alright leave them now. Problem solved." he said, and watched as his brothers stopped fighting. They all walked calmly back into the bar, grinning from ear to ear. "Can we pay our bill? We should get moving." Ares said as he looked at Mackie.

Mackie watches before looking at him and said " of course I'll get it " as she wrote up a bill before handing it to him then places dirty dishes into the water and cleans the dishes as she wait for the bill to come back it was about time they closed down and since everyone was almost out Cindy said "Mackie I'll close up it time for you to get home before it gets too dark " Mackie laughs and said " afraid I won't come back tomorrow " Cindy said " probably you have a ways to go and I just don't want you to get hurt " Mackie rolls her eyes and sighed before cleaning up a bit more before grabbing her stuff and then taking care of the bill and said " come back anytime "

Watching Mackie pack up, Ares wondered if she would need protection on her way home. She seemed completely capable of taking care of herself, but still he worried. "Can we offer you girls a ride home? Its the least we can do after causing a fight outside your bar?" Ares asked. What are you doing bro? You know we dont have time, we're already on a mission. Achilles and Ares spoke through their mental link, Apollo and Atlas were listening in. Ares could feel the disapproving looks. They are alone, and Mackie seems to be a rogue without a pack. He watched Mackie and Cindy pack the dishes away, they moved in sync, like sisters almost. "Come back anytime," Mackie said, her voice friendly. 'Sure! Do you need that lift home?' Ares asked gently.

Mackie smiles and said " I appreciate it but I rather keep my location a secret I hope you understand there are things in this world that might be hunting you " as she was right hunters who plan on suppose to be killing deer was hunting wolves and since she was a werewolf they would hunt her too Cindy said " I don't want to bother or keep you guys from you mission but feel free to come back we will both enjoy you guys " as Mackie nods before nodding her good byes then walks out of the bar looking at the drunk men laying on the ground and shakes her head then walks on holding her jacket

Ares watched the two girls leave, hand in hand. Alright, so she wants to stay hidden. Lets go boys. As he spoke through the link, Apollo stood and walked outside. A cigarette in hand, the rest of the brothers followed him. Ares didn't smoke, didn't find the pleasure in it, but his brothers did. He leaned on the car while waiting for them to finish their cigarettes. 'We will need to report the two drunk idiots over here to the pack, even though they're human, one of them has a hunting liscense. We can't have hunters hitting our territories." Atlas said, digging through the mans wallet. With a calm nod, Ares hopped into the drivers seat, engine roaring. 'Well let's get moving then.' When all the boys were in the car, he hit the road. Speeding down the empty roads, he loved the peace he had driving deeper into the forests and mountains. The quiet pale blue evening, with the hum of the engine. He felt a sharp need to run, so when he pulled into his driveway, he tossed the keys to Apollo and shifted into his wolf form. Desperate to run, to feel his legs and lungs burn, he took off. Sprinting deep into the forest.

Mackie got into the woods and shifted in to her wolf and ran down deep into woods before coming to a cabin and said " home sweet home " as she howls softly before going to the pouch and lays down looking up at the star and whines before a she sifted back and said " I miss you mom and dad I wish you were here I'll tell all about the crazy night I had " as she sighed before walking inside the room and the kitchen pulling out a bowl of soup she had in the refrigerator

Ares heard a howl in the distance, a lonely call. He walked to a small stream, relieving his dry mouth and sore throat, raw from the run. The water was cool, soothing his aches and pains. He looked up at the night sky, the stars and moon looking back at him with their soft glow. Feeling rejuvenated he let loose a howl, and took off running back home. His legs propelling him forward faster and faster with each ground covering stride. He weaved and ducked through the trees and thicket, leaping over logs and rocks. The wind streaming through his fur, he ran home, limbs burning. Sitting on the porch waiting for him was Apollo, his brother had an irritated look on his face. "Whats wrong? Was I gone long?" Ares asked. "I was worried, that's all," Apollo sighed, he opened the front door for Ares. "Let's get some rest."
