Cali nodded and looked at Ghost "Would you mind running in the back? Just to make sure no one strays behind" She asked him softly than quickly scanning the herd for Westery. Once she made sure their little sister was there she gestured for her to come up with her and Sol, than turned and followed close by Sol __________________ Westery She heard Sol call out, she was just near the tree line. She came cantering back to the herd, her long white tail black frosted swishing behind her. She couldn't believe they might have a new chance at finding her parents, she saw Cali gesture for her to come up and rolled her eyes as she did "I may still be a yearling but I'm not a little foal anymore! So don't treat me like one!" She glared at California "I wouldn't of let myself be left behind, finding mom and Dad is far to important to be messing around" She said walking past her sister and catching up to Sol "We're going to get mum and dad back?" She asked getting over excited as she trotted _________ California Cali sighed as Westery spoke "I wasn't saying you needed to be babysat, I just wanted to keep you close. Me and Sol are responsible for you until our parents come back" She tried to explain, her face saddened when the filly walked past her -Oh Westery- she thought as she walked along

(He'll always care to much- its his personality LOL)) - West glanced at Mystery as she spoke, taking that as a cue to sew up his defensive look. He obviously wasn't hiding his emotions well enough, if she knew exactly what he was thinking. "I know we will." He offered a slightly fake smile, because, well, fake it till you make it, right? He was a little wary about just going and eating, especially since while he was grazing he couldn't be on the lookout... however, when he glanced back at his mangled body, he knew he had to eat. His ribs jutted out like canyons, and his hips stuck out like poles. He wasn't going to protect an armored tank if he wasn't strong and healthy enough to do so. As Mystery instructed him to eat, he gave in and walked to the water, drinking deeply before falling upon the green grass in hungry mouthfuls. The faster he got the eating, the faster they could go find their family. They were getting closer. Mystery was right. He couldn't lose hope- not now.

Sol looked at Westery with a look of amusement and happiness on his face. 'That's the plan Westery,' he said,'but don't get your hopes up and we may have to help you ok? You need to listen to us, this will probably be dangerous'.

Mystery smiled as she saw West in the corner of her eye drinking and eating and lifted her head two inches off the ground and said quietly "Thank you" than returned to grazing as fast as she could, it meant alot to her that Nevada helped them and that West could finally eat properly. She went back for another drink to help with the grass than nibbled some- no, a lot more grass. She felt something in her side, it almost hurt. She glanced back at it as she soon realized that perhaps it wasn't a maybe, that it WAS for certain. Mystery knew it probably wasn't the best time to fall pregnant- again. But still she smiled, her head swung around to look at West, she opened her mouth to tell him but paused, she thought for a minute than decided to leave him to graze and ate some more grass. Mystery didn't want to jinx their good luck that had followed them this far, she wanted to get back to the herd safely and be with their family and friends so desperately

(We have to be getting close, I can't hold West in suspense any longer! WE NEED THEM ALL TO FIND EACH OTHER so there can be a big very emotional reunion with LOTS OF TEARS AND DISBELIEF AND HEART ATTACKS)) - West glanced at Mystery with a half smile. "Don't thank me- eating is neccesary to stay alive." He answered, though he was glad she was eating and drinking too. He grazed until he felt contently full, then he drank and grazed again. Soon, though, he felt too on edge from sitting still too long, so he raised his head and swiveled his ears, looking around, his chocolaty brown eyes alert. Somewhere, hopefully not too far away, Cali, Sol, Westery, Ghost, and the herd awaited. He had to be sure of it. He had to. The only thing that had kept him together this long was Mystery, or otherwise he would've lost all hope long ago.

Sol continued to lead his herd until he couldn't keep up his pace any more while making a path. He called out to everyone, 'We'll have a break for five minutes ok? There's a stream over there behind the bushes and some grass.'. He then trotted over to Ghost. 'Hey Ghost, are you ok?' he asked.

(AAAAAAAHH I KNOW THIS WAITING IS GOING TO BE THE DEATH OF MEEEEEE WHERE'S ARLINGTON!?!?!?) Cali nudged Sol's shoulder "You okay?" She asked as he slowed down, while he went to talk to Ghost she kept a eye on everyone for a minute. Eventually she looked at Westery "Come on, we should quickly eat and get a drink before the herd moves again" California suggested walking towards the stream ___________ Westery She looked up at Sol as he spoke "Yeah yeah I know. But I miss them too" She said with a long exhersperated huff ~~~ When they stopped ~~~ Westery glanced at California as the dapple grey mare spoke than nodded, she followed Cali to the water and started drinking, she looked at her big sister "Hey Cali? I'm sorry about before with my sudden out burst... I just miss them too much" Westery said apologeticly lowering her head _________ California She looked at Westery as she spoke, a sorrowful expression on her face "No need to apologize, I understand... You didn't get as much time with them like me and Sol... That must be hard" Cali nuzzled Westery's neck ____________ Mystery Mystery smirked and grazed some more. Finally she couldn't hold it anymore, her head shot up and she looked around "I... Don't want to wait any longer, I want to find them" Mystery said to West, her stare moving to Nevada "Umm... Nevada? I think I'm ready to go. Do you know your way to a herd known as the Northern herd? That's West's herd. And that's hopefully where our foals are, waiting for us" She asked glancing nervously at West than back to Nevada

I'm sorry, I have been a bit preoccupied with RO on my main account! I will make this post a little longer so we can get these two on the road home!) Nevada | Mare | Wilderness | Mentions: West & Mystery The dark mare kept on high alert as the two equines ate and drank their fill. She didn't mind at all, only glad that she could help them find the groceries they desperately needed. As she walked around on guard, she kept an eye on the ground, searching for something in particular. A smile graced her features as the purple perennial wildflower came into view on the other side of the meadow, across the river. Nevada picked up her gait to an extrended trot and with her long, selnder legs, easily leapt over the water without missing stride. She grasped the medium sized plant between her teeth and made her way back towards the others. . She took noticed that Mystery and West were now side by side, speaking to one another, and she could only assume that meant they had their fills and were ready to move on. Her audits pricked towards the mare as Mystery began to approach her. She dropped the plants in her mouth on the ground in the space between her and the mare. "Northern herd? No, I'm afraid I have not heard of it," She frowned, wishing more than anything that she knew how to find their home. But she didn't let the small defeat take more than a second of her emotions as not to crush any hope the pair had of finding their way. "But hey, I do know the way up the countryside north, so perhaps I can take you far enough to recognize the land?" It was the most vague plan she had come up with in a long time, but with the two not knowing exactly where they were going, it was the best they could do at the time being. She lowered her head and picked at a few of the plants and nudged them towards mystery. "Here, eat these. Comfrey is great for healing wounds quickly and will help with the pain." She stated before taking the remaining plants and leaving them with West. She smiled politely, as she hadn't really spoken to the stallion, but she hoped that the kind gesture would help him feel a little less on edge. . Once they had eaten the plants, Nevada mentally prepared her route north. With it still being early into the spring, she knew the grounds would be soft and slick. She hoped that the journey wouldn't be too strenious for her company, especially West. whom seemed to be in the roughest shape. "All ready?" She asked, turning back towards them with a smile that hid any doubts she might have been feeling. "Lets not waste any more time then!" With that, Nevada took the lead and began weaving through bushes and around trees for a few miles before the equines finally found the well worn and traveled path that many of the creatures used like a highway to and from the northern mountain range each season. Though it was a great trail to follow, the appaloosa mare would remain on high alert, knowing predators were just as familair with it as she was.
