Sage had sort of just collapsed with a wheeze onto his couch and before he knew it, Chloe was gone. He couldn't help the slight panic that rose in his throat once he was alone again, and he got up to limp around pacing, even though he really should sit down and rest

Chloe was glad to have sage back and should feel better and good enough to quit vaping. But she couldn't. She walked outside and fed the horses. She didn't want sage to see her vape or cut herself. She went out to diesel and tacked him up. She decided to ride the stallion for the first time.

Sage eventually had to get out of the trailer, so he stumbled out of it and to the barn, slipping into chaos's stall, where the stallion greeted him with a happy but worried nicker. He smiled slightly and sid to the ground against the wall, chaos coming over to lay down next to him. He lay against the big black horse with a happy sigh, glad to have his friend back.

Chloe walked into the stables vaping not knowing sage was there. Chloe had been wearing dull clothes and seemed emotionless. She usually wore night clothing and showed emotion. Chloe had been so low she'd started dating an abusive dude and had been threatened if she was to leave him she'd be killed. She started softly singing "misfit" she never sang infront of people even though she had a beautiful voice.

Sage had heard her singing, but was half asleep so his muddled brain didn't really connect all the dots until he saw her walk past him. "Why didn't you tell me you could sing like that," he sort of half slurred with a yawn. "You're really good," he mumbled, wondering if she'd even want to talk to him. She'd saved him and then just...left. maybe he should have respected that and left her alone. But right now, he was honestly still hurting and scared and he needed someone

Chloe pretty much froze. "I haven't sung since my mum passed a couple years ago" she said. She noticed sage was with chaos. "Nothing will ever keep you two apart will it?" She joked, Chloe then sat outside the stall fiddling with the vape. Maybe she should quit. Atleast for sage.

Sage hummed and nodded in response to her comment. Then he smiled and nodded when she mentioned chaos. "He's been my only friend or family for years," he hummed, patting the horse happily. "He's a good boy," he said with a yawn.

Chloe nodded also. She grabbed a saddle and bridle and tacked up diesel. She walked him to the jumps and they started jumping. Chloe was amazed by diesels talent and smiled for the first time in a long time. Chloe and diesel:

Sage watched her leave before sighing and leaning against chaos. He was still very confused as to whether Chloe liked him or not. She gave a lot of mixed signals ...and he'd had bad history of people, so he was scared to try and reach out. It had only gotten him hurt. But he was hurting alone too...and he wasn't sure what he should do. He ended up just falling asleep on chaos, not able to keep himself up any more
