"Do you think that stallion was your brother? The one who broke your leg? From how you described him, I think it is..." Lily looked genuinely worried, as if this would change the fate of the world. Edited at June 3, 2023 12:57 AM by Galloping Stables

"There's a good chance Menace was the stallion that took over the herd. Did he look almost identified to Mel, except a little short er with snake green eyes that promised death and destruction? Because that was Menace." West almost spat with poison dripping on his voice. He never sounded this disgusted or angry... but the sheer mentioning of his brothers name made him want to pound somebody's head into the ground. He hated that he was almost identical to Menace. He hated that snake being mentioned in his family.

Lily sighed. "Yeah, that was definitely him. Creepy and demanding. Also evil, it seems. But I'll stop talking about him, it looks to me like you're in pain whenever someone even mentions his name." Lily looked meaningfully at West. "So.... I'll talk about something else. Wanna do something tomorrow? I have some business to attend to with my wounds and I think you do, too."

West shuddered slightly at that mental image, though a small tendril of dread crept in. Everywhere he went, everyone thought he was Menace because everyone knew Menace. No one knew that vile stallion had a brother that looked almost identical to him. Everywhere he went West was thrown out and beat up. Would Lily despise him too because of what his brother did? This thought worried West greatly. "I- I can do whatever." West's voice falterd slightly as his worry slipped through

Lily looked concerned. Wasn't I just nice to West? Why is he worried? Did I say something wrong? Lily kept all these thoughts inside her mind, though they were very close to piling up and spilling out. "Um... Okay. Maybe tomorrow at 11:00?" West is acting so wierd... I hope he doesn't think I hate him now that I know his past...

West nodded, his expression a little... dim. Even if he didn't know Lily very well he still enjoyed being with her... -She's still acting normal, calm down- West thought. "Okay, 11 sounds like a good time. I'll see you then." He said quietly, turning away to go back to the grove of pines that he usually slept in

Lily's brow was still creased, and she walked away, saying over her shoulder, "yeah. See you then." Lily realized a few minutes later that she was walking towards the stream which was near the tree where Chaos had stood over her. A wave of memory washed over her, and she stopped, half expecting to see Chaos jump out at her.

West went back to the pines, pretty much collapsing with a huff. Complicated life. -Lily wouldn't just abandon me after that, stop worrying- He commanded his brain - Chaos perked his ears, hearing something but at the moment.. he was a little wary of that grey stallion. That guy gave him the willies

(What, Chaos is scared of West? No way XD) - Lily shrugged the feeling off and continued her way to the water, where she drank and splashed around half-heartedly until getting bored and stepping out of the creek. She shook herself and rolled around, trying to get the itch that was persisting on her back.

Hehe)) - Chaos heard splashes and he could only assume it was the other stallion, so he went the other way. He hoped he never had to come face to face with that ball of anger again - West flicked his tail as he stared at the water, thinking. At least he would be seeing Lily tomorrow, that was good. That meant she didn't entirely hate him. -She doesn't hate you AT ALL STOP IT- His brain all but groaned at itself
