At least he knew. I've had bosses take credit for my work in front of other people. It's so disheartening. It does make you question sometimes why is it worth it?
Yes and no, Velaris. He wasn't there, so I would work my butt off and the other girls would do the bare minimum, and because I was out emptying garbage cans or picking up the balls on the driving range or what have you, the other girls would take credit for what I did. thankfully he was smart enough to see past it and know the only reason he didn't see me was because I was working, but it didn't make the other girls like me any more. Probably didn't help that the boss was my ex's uncle, but i worked my butt off to get the accolade's i did get and thankfully he recognized my hard work
Athena, at least your manager is there. When I was at the golf course, he was never there. If we called he'd come in, but he usually left us to our own devices, so as long as the place wasn't a mess when he came in, he didn't care
Sage nodded and grunted. "It'll get better. Certain times are worse than others, you know that." He patted her shoulder gently. "Just chill. We can always bring the leftovers home if you want them later."
