(Sure you can, mystery angels sister who ran away with a stallion years ago came back so angels kinda distant and that's pretty much it) mangel woke up as the sun shone on her back. Angel used to love when the sun made her coat all shiny bit now it was covered in scars from numerous fights. She adjusted so that others couldn't see them.

Ranger looked at the new cut on his shoulder. Yep, another would-be scar. He ran his gaze over his burnished dark brown body that was marred in many places by lighter scars. He looked... eerie. His ears pinned slightly as he stomped in the water, splashing up a wave up droplets that just got him wet.

Dixie peered around a tree. She had been wandering for years and finally found life other than mountain lions and wolves. She gave a small nicker, hoping that someone would hear her and take her in.

Ranger let out an irritated huff, but it was blended with the sound of another noise. He cut his huff short, his ears flying straight up and his head lifting from the water as he stood, erect, listening. There... a small nicker. Who could that be? All the horses of the herd were behind him... right? Ranger glanced back to make sure. Yep, they were. He swiveled his ears forward again, replaying the nicker in his mind. Well, he didn't care if it was a stallion, mare, or lost foal he was going over there! Ranger splashed out of the water and trotted over to where he heard the sound, in a dove of pine trees with the woods behind it. He slowed to a walk as he got closer, glimpsing a light pelt. Ranger then saw a mare peering out from behind the trees. His ears immediately went sideways in his *docile, I'm not gonna hurt ya* position and he lowered his head. "Howdy there! Who are you? I'm Jolly Roger, but you can call me Ranger." He introduced himself with a grin, his joking tone forever holding as he tilted his head and looked at the *intruder*

Angel heard a nicker and perked her ears. She lifters her head and looked around before resting it back down again.

Mystery saw Ranger leave the stream then heard a sound. One of the softest nickers she had ever heard. Curious to see where it came from. Mystery got out of the water and half followed the stallion. As soon as she saw... A mare? as light in color as herself, she got overwhelmed with excitement. Usually Mystery was the happiest horse anyone ever knew. But even when she was sad, it literally didn't take much to make her happy, she was bright. Mystery rushed past Ranger and ran up to the mare (Dixie) "Hi! I'm Mystery! What's your name? My older sister Angel is the leader of our herd, come on, I'll introduce you to her!" Mystery said with a piping bright attitude

Angel stood up and walked over to the stream. She had a drink before trotting around. She soon walked back to the blossom tree.

Dixie stepped back when the stallion approached "um hi" she said, her voice weak. She took another step back when the mare came up "hello. I'm Dixie " she eyed the two horses "Ive been kicked out of my herd. I've been wandering for a year." She lowered her head

Ranger lifted his eyebrows and took a couple of steps back when Mystery came up looking rather excited. -I should probably just retreat and talk to this mare later...- He thought. "Nice to meet you, Dixie." He seemed much more subdued now, turning around and walking away.
