"Good to know." He turned to Tigress, who was walking next to him. "I used to come out here all the time you know. It was peaceful." He commented. The open sky above him shone down, making him as gold as the sun, almost blinding to look at.

Tigress walked alongside Wildfire as the herd headed out. The sun beat down on her chestnut coat and her blue eyes sparked like ice in the blazing sun.

On Tigresses other side Farnight made a comment about coming here all the time. "So that's where you went all the time!" She exclaimed. "that's cool, but also more dangerous than you may have thought."

"I know, but I never ran into anything, and I was perfectly safe." Farnight insisted. *Ive got to hop of for a little brb in an hour(I might be on and off at minuets at a time.)* Edited at November 2, 2022 02:51 PM by Luckshan Breeding

"It's so odd that we were attacked. Mountain lions normally go after lone horses, not whole herds. To add to that, they normally have their own territory, meaning there likely isn't more than one in a specific area," Tigress had to admit she was stumped. She had spent years fighting and struggling in the wild. She knew how predators and prey worked and this...it just wasn't normal.

Tigress turned back to Wildfire. His red dun coat shone beautifully in the sun. She cast a look at his face, determined and strong, ready to protect the herd, just like her. She felt a connection with him that she hadn't felt with another horse before. She forced herself to tear her gaze away and focus on the task ahead.

Arion looked towards the herd and saw Sultan coming. She blushed and looked away. It was getting really dark. The black mare's emerald green eyes shinned under the moonlight. The light breeze had calmed down as Arion watched the fireflies emerge from the grass. She smiled and turned her gaze back to Sultan.

That night in a beautiful firefly lit field, the noon shone down on Tigress. She watched Sultan and Arion, standing close to each other. The two seemed to be good friends. Tigress wished she could bring herself to trust enough to have a relationship like that.

*howl* Lilac froze..."What was that?...Everyone be quite! I heard something...". Lilac looked at the forest at the herds side, she heard snarls and growls coming from the bushes, the foals were closest...a very lare wolf came out from the bushes, it was headed torwards moon! After a second four othe wolves had joined the giant one. They were circling the herd now, the foals started freaking out, Lilac tried bucking one of the smaller ones, it lached onto her thigh and another one joined in, going for her neck. She niehed loudly, "Someone help! Tigress keep the foals safe!" Lilac was panicking, the wolf was still on her and the other wolf was biting her front legs now.

Tigress heard Lilacs panicked cry for help. She rushed to the rescue, bounding across the moonlit field. Her plan was already well thought out in her mind, even though she had only had a split second to decide what to do. She darted in front of the foals first nickering for them to get back. A wolf instantly tryed to latch onto her leg but she easily sidestepped and kicked it away. She reared purposely exposing her stomach, she held the position as the wolves rushed at her, just before they kept toward her she slammed her hooves back to the ground crushing the wolves. She heard the snap of bone and whining. Many of the wolves ran away terrified. She snorted, they were wimpy cowards. Then she spotted Lilac beneath two wolves who were snarling and biting her. Tigress cantered over knocking the wolves aside easily. She bit one and tossed it aside like it weighed nothing, the other ran from her, looking scared. She bent down to Lilac. "Are you okay?" She asked the alpha mare. Edited at November 2, 2022 03:17 PM by Flying Chance Stable
