Farnight cantered over to Lilac and Tigress, kicking up dust and sprinting across the field. "Wolves?!" He exclaimed. "I'll go see whether they are gone completely." He trotted around the perimeter, occasionally shying and lashing out at a suspected wolf. "All clear." He said.

Lilac stood up shaking, the leg that a cougar had hurt had opened up again and she was loosing blood, she had extra scratches from the wolves. "Y-yes I'm fine...we need to keep going." Lilac took a step forward and fell. "Accually...lets stay here for the night, the foals are tired and those wolves wont come back, thank you Tigress.". The black mare was gratefull to such strong horses in the herd, they wouldent survive without them.

Lilac snorted at Farnight, "Thank you Farnight.".

Tigress knew when a horse needed a break to rest. "you don't need to thank me. It's my job." Tigress snorted. "Lilac, the herd needs you to rest. Please just take it easy for a little bit. I will look out for the herd in the meantime. Tigress turned to Farnight. "Do you think you can tend to her wounds?" She asked. Edited at November 2, 2022 03:26 PM by Flying Chance Stable

"I will get some wet moss. Lilac, wait here and rest please." Farnight ripped out some moss from the ground and wet it in the stream.

Tigress waited by Lilac as Farnight went to get some wet moss. "You need to take it easy. I know you have a lot of responsibility in this heard as it's alpha, but you need to know when to ask for help. Your injured and your never going to heal by continuing like this. " Tigress whispered to Lilac. "You need time to heal, you cannot always be fine." Tigress knew this meant little coming from her, after all, she herself didn't ever ask horses for help, and she always claimed she was fine, even if her heart was breaking inside of her chest, yet she still hoped Lilac would take this seriously. They needed a healthy leader. Edited at November 2, 2022 03:35 PM by Flying Chance Stable

Farnight came to Lilac and washed out her wounds. The blood from her wound was glistening, and the dew droplets looked undisturbed. "Tigress, are you ok? You look a little sad." Edited at November 2, 2022 03:40 PM by Luckshan Breeding

Ok guys, im back, ill have to go in a bit again though :( im all caught up and will do my best. Wildfire walked up to Tigress. "Thank you for defending the herd while I was gone, you really are a lifesaver." He looked around the edges of the woods, being sure. He thanked Farnight and checked on Lilac and the foals. Wildfire felt horrible for not being there when the herd needed them. What was wrong with him? He hung his head and started to walk the edges, watching as clearly as he could, determined not to miss a thing. When he hit a patch of tall grass, a swirl of firey light came up. Lightning bugs/fireflies flew toward the sky. He stood there, amazed. He laid down right there, feeling a sense of calm coming over him. He watched the herd peacefully.

Tigress snapped her attention to Farnight, realizing she had drifted off into her thoughts. "I'm good." She lied, after she had just told Lilac not to do that. She quickly looked away, hiding the disappointment in her pretty blue eyes. She was dissapointed in herself for not trusting Farnight. He trusted her, why couldn't she just trust someone, anyone. She needed to talk, she needed to speak her fear, yet she felt she had no one to talk to. Without thinking her gaze drifted across the field to where Wildfire was laying in the grass. What if she could learn to trust again? She quickly banished that thought from her mind. She stood up tall and strong, pretending to be okay. Sultan followed along with the herd as they were moving about to find a new location but he froze and made sure to also keep the wolves away from the foals. He relaxed after he watched them run off but he looked towards Lilac worried as she's been getting the blunt of the attacks. He checked over the foals and walked over to Arion and nickered softly shaking his head as he looked around while he was walking.
