The next morning Lyra woke up at 5 and went to the stables to feed Mystery, Ghost, Whiskey (And the others lol) and cleaned out the stalls, she waited outside the stables, she knew her new horse wouldn't arrive until midday or noon but she was still hopeful, she went to Chloe's cabin to ask if she wanted to wait with her. But Chloe wasn't there "Okay? Maybe she went to town to get supplies?" She said to herself with a confused shrug. She then went to her cabin that she shared with Briea and shook her awake "Heyo BrieAnn! Wanna wait with me for Halo to arrive?!" She asked barely able to hide her excitement "Ooooh or maybe we could go for a trail ride?!" She said spinning around till she fell into the wall

Chloe wondered if the others noticed the angle load float missing. Chloe was on her way back with the Two new horses. (Better do their profiles lol)

Lyra didn't wait for Briea's response, she was too excited. She ran outside and waited, Mystery heard Lyra's voice and looked out her window to see what was going on. Lyra smiled brightly seeing a 4x4 driving into the property, with a shiny red horse float, must've been Halo's owners float, try pulled up on the side of the dirt road, a tall lady with black hair jumped out

"Oh Pfft you can just call me Flick! But yeah that's my name, I believe you wanted to buy MY prized mare? That'll be 500k please" She said shaking Lyra's hand then waiting to get paid

She smiled awkwardly "500k? But didn't you say 250k on the phone?" She asked a little suspicious, when Flick shook her head she shrugged "Oh okay, sorry" Lyra said a little embarrassed as she grabbed her wallet "Here, here's half in cash. I'll transfer the other half when I go to town on Monday, is that alright?"

She tipped her hat to Flick as she drove out before scratching her head "500k?...". She soon came out of thought when she heard the first Whinnie from her new mare, excited, Lyra approached her horse "Hey Halo! Hey girl welcome to your new home! Wow you're gorgeous!" Lyra said stroking Halo's neck before leading her to her new stall across from Mystery, she put some oats in Mystery's trough then put some apples in Halo's feed trough. As she walked out she was still excited, Lyra wanted to try her new mare but decided to let her settle

briea walked up to the girls truck stopping it before she left "your Felicity right well that horse of yours is not worth 500K 250K yes but 500 no look at her her hoves are a bit slantend and her head is small and she has a small crust in her neck plus you said 250 on the phone and the add" briea was not about to let her friend get screwed over she looked at flick then said in a dangeros voice "oh im sorry im BrieAnn crow smith 3 time NFR winner 2 time NCHA winner and 2 time grand pix winner if you dont belive me i could go get my boy you probaly heard of him ghosting the prize does that ring a bell i bet it does you tried to buy him the first time he won grand prix" this was the first time she said her full name she was all over the news for a long time before chloe won grand prix and she still had all of the ribbons and gold medals she had a look of anger on her face but smiled "but lets come even at 370 sound good" she braided her hair and straitend her shirt then looked up "if you dont whant 370 i will give you 400 savy" she said nodding and holding out 400k for him (.........longest post ive ever done i may need a party...)

The horse that SHE wanted to pay handsomely to buy, she looked down tipping her head in howdy to the girl "Oh my bad, I didn't realise how much true talent was here." She said with a grin. She looked at the 400k in Briea's hands then put her hand out and gently pushed Briea's hand back "Nah, I don't need the extra money. I'll except the 250 and be off, I ain't poor. The opposite actually, and I have something I need to get to" Flick said winking at Briea then slowly driving off

She watched astounded, she came over and hugged Briea "Thank you! You just saved me from getting scammed!" She said before letting go "Oh my gosh you HAVE to see Halo up close though, she's gorgeous!" Lyra said going back to the stables

briea laughed and huggedlyra back walking to se halo she ran her hands down he legs and sides "wow she is built really well other then the few problems i pointed out " she shook her head "shesh flick cant get to ya she tried to buy ghost the first time he won grand prix"

Lyra nodded "So that lady isn't completely honest when it comes to business I take it?" She asked patting Halo's face

She stuck her head over the stall door to look at the new mare that Lyra bought "Hello! I'm Mystery!" She introduced in a bubbly way "And this is Ghost! My stallion" she said proudly pointing her nose to the stall next to her, she looked at Halo's coat "Wow you are so pretty!" She said with a smile

She put her head over her stall door to greet her new stable mates "Oh hi there! I'm Halo" she said in her rich English accent "Mystery ha? And Ghost? Hehe nice names! An thanks! I like your coat too, not bad yourself" she said with a giggle
