Lilac galloped through the forest, "Wildfire?", he hadnt told her where he had gone, Lilac was getting worried.

Wildfire could feel the wind flowing through his mane and tail. His feet in rhythm with Tigress's. They were racing the wind, free together. When they came closer to the spot he slowed to a gentle walk. He waited for Tigress to fall beside him before he nudged the tall grass. That same bright flame rose again, thousands of fireflies/lightning bugs flying around them. He continued into the grass nickering to Tigress to follow. With every step, more rose, until they completely surrounded. The light reflected in each of their amazed eyes. He was glad he showed this to the mare, she seemed calmer.

Lilac slowed, she saw Tigress and WIldfire together in a feild of fireflies. It was beautiful...She couldent take her eyes away from it. She needed to talk to Wildfire though, she walked out from behind the bushes she was in, walking up to Wildfire. "Um, hi...this is magical..." the black mares eyes were glowing from the light of the fireflies, the light was shining off her coat making it look like it was glowing. She looked Wildfire in the eyes, "I-i need to talk to you...privatley." Lilac blushed but then twisted her head so that Wildfire didnt see. Her mane was blowing slightly with the dusk breeze.

Tigress came to a stop next to Wildfire as the fireflies arose around them shrouding them in a beautiful eerie light. She felt so free. This is exactly what she had needed. "Thank you." She wispered to Wildfire. She turned her head towards him. This moment was magical and she never wanted to forget it. "Wildfire-" she started but Lilac interrupted the moment asking to talk to Wildfire in private. She knew he had beta duty's to attend to but she really wished she could stay with him for longer. She nuzzled him gently. "Go ahead, we can catch up later." She was slightly disappointed but she knew he had a job to do.

Before Lilac went to talk with Wildfire she gave Tigress a nod, indicating that she thought that their talk would be fast. Lilac didnt want to keep WIldfire to long...she just wanted to tell him how she felt...

Tigress blushed a bit as she left Wildfire and Lilac to talk in private. She really hoped Wildfire and her could become friends...or maybe more than friends...she cut that thought off. She had never had a relationship like that, like Arions and Sultans. She might never have a relationship like that.

"W-wildfire...I..." Lilac paused blushing. She blurted " Wildfire I really like you, your nice, you protect the herd and you help me when I get injured...You saved me once. I like you Wildfire..." Lilac blushed, meeting Wildfire eyes.

Tigress didn't mean to overhear Lilac telling Wildfire she liked him, but she did, and she regretted it. She knew she and Wildfire weren't that close...but, her heart seemed to be breaking again for some weird reason. A tear slipped down her check. Then she snapped at herself, "Pull yourself together! You've become weak!" Her eyes blazed with their usual fire, but that didn't last long. If hanging out with Wildfire had taught her anything it was that she was aloud to have emotions. She was sad, but if he likes Lilac she'd have to accept it. Somehow. But she still didn't regret talking to Wildfire, following him to the magical feilds...then she realized maybe he didn't like Lilac back, or maybe he did who knows. She guessed she'd have to wait for Wildfire to talk to her again. But it wasn't right to evesdrop so she went and layed down in the long waving grass. She laid her head down near her hooves, wishing that maybe she still had a chance with Wildfire. Edited at November 2, 2022 06:10 PM by Flying Chance Stable

Wildfire nuzzled Tigress back before leaving her to go with Lilac. Wildfire stood there, frozen, unsure what to do. He glanced at Tigress, still watching the fireflies/lightning bugs. He took a step back. "Lilac, I-I didn't know you felt that way, I- uh - I don't know what to say." He glanced at the chestnut mare again. "I'm not sure if- I'm not- I don't - I" he rambled off into a mumble, finally staying silent. His face was hot. His stance was tense. He swallowed.
