Sparta | Herd Mare | 5 Years | Mentions: Open Sparta looked around in fear, the foreboding cliffs around her enclosing the bleak and dusty surroundings. The place reeked of death, and she knew she had to find a way out. But how? The cliffs were too steep to climb. Perhaps she could find a hidden path to travel through. This seemed like a good plan, and she traveled by the cliffsides, gazing nervously for any sign of a path. A howl broke her concentration, and she snapped up her head. From a great distance away, she saw wolfish figures coming from the shadows. Her flight instincts kicked in, and she raced away, leaving dust trails in her wake. In her panic, she didn't realize where she was going; the wolves' howls bouncing off the canyon walls. She raced through a small path, about two yards in width. Running down this path, she rushed into a larger area, shaped like a circle and completely cut off except for the path she came by. "No!" She cried as she realized her mistake. But it was too late. They had come. Snarling and slinking into the clearing, the wolves surrounded her. She could feel her heart racing as she backed up, knowing that there was no other way out. Very well then. If she was going to fall, she was going to fall fighting! Her raged filled screech filled the air as she charged, her mane flying in the fray. She met the first wolf with eyes blazing, striking with her hooves as it lunged..." The gentle sounds of the nearby stream filled Sparta's ears s she awakened suddenly, panting as if she had just ran a long distance. The ground was soft with grass, and trees standing here and there rustled as a steady breeze blew through them. The breeze felt cool, drying her sweaty body and clearing her head of the nightmare. It was just a dream. Sparta sighed, relieved to find no wolves chasing her, and the welcome sight of a grassy field flooding her eyes. Standing up, she shook her coat free of the dirt and grass that had stuck to it. She wondered how long she had slept for. For her surroundings, it seemed like two or three hours had passed. "So much for a relaxing rest." Sparta snorted. Her legs were still not fully limber yet, so she decided to run down to the stream. That way, she could get a drink and excercise at the same time. She began to walk down to the stream, listening to the sound of her joints pop a little as she stretched them. When she felt somewhat limber, she sped up to a trot, then a canter. In this rhythmic gait she made her way to the far side of the stream. Once she splashed through the cool waters, she felt fully stretched out, and stopped in the shallow part of the stream. Lowering her head, she touched her muzzle to the water, drinking it up in big long gulps. |

"Ah sorry Mercy, but you won't find an answer out of me.." Azealia told Mercy, she then swished her tail, the yin and yang flexing to the bending as it stayed blended, how it stayed blended? Azealia didn't know. "Oh! You wanna run with me?" Azealia whispered in Mercy's ear, she then backed up as she took some grass and had set it down on her forelock. Though Azealia did grab some nearby flowers and had dotted them along Mercy's tail, mane and forelock where the grass was, the flowers were setted down into the toughest and mangled parts of the hair, where it would stick better. "Now you look more beautiful then me!" Azealia laughed, the beautiful flowers placed in the most harder spots to see were now filled since they popped out and it made anyone look with most curiosity or just can't stop looking. |

(Double post on accident! Actually, I'll turn this into a different post!) As Azealia was wandering around the herd, seeming bored aside from giving mares a make over with the flowers, she did grab some for Maple as she walked up to her and started planting flowers in her mane, tail, and forelock. Though she did collect some more flowers as she kept planting flowers in her hair until Azealia felt satisfied about the amount of flowers, and when she stopped she gazed at a beautiful mare! "Perfect! Everything is quite perfect everywhere!" Azealia said proudly as she pranced around Maple, taking in her own work on the forelock, mane and tail and was happy about it. Though she did miss Coyote to dressing her up, so she collected flowers and started to get Coyote's forelock, mane and tail, though the flowers were all arranged in a color palette as they danced around perfectly. "Perfect! Now you are more beautiful then me!" Azealia said, she pranced around Coyote, as she nibbled on some grass and then pciked some up and threw the grass into the air. "I'm happy that I was able to dress you up with a selected palette instead of placing them randomly, yours is definately a 10/10 just with the coat alone as well!" Azealia told Coyote, she loved how she looked and enjoyed the flowers. |

Raven giggled as she watched the paint mare dress everyone in flowers. She loved the happy look on Coyote's face when she said she was more beautiful than her. Raven nudged Azealia playfully. "You are an amazing horse, you know that?" The dark mare picked a few bright and pastel wildflowers around her delicately and placed them in the mare's colorful mane and tail. As Raven stepped back, she snorted in delight. The different assortments gave Azealia a pretty look, with every flower from little purple ones to big yellow ones. The flowers made her crazy almost iridesent sheen stand out more. "There, now everything's perfect." Raven threw her head up and reared up midway, and cantered around while throwing her legs up playfully. Everyone looked like spring foals with all the little blossoms and blooms everywhere. They were all chasing each other playfully, the heard happier than it'd been in a while. Raven loved watching everyone play around. She saw a butterfly and while watching it flutter around gently, it landed on her nose. The black mare gasped lightly and admired it's colors and patterns. She smiled and her heart felt warm as she watched it leave to a flower a bit away. The sun was shining, causing everyone's coats to shine as well. Beautiful. |

"Heheh!" Azealia giggled as she plucked up some bright flowers, and started dressing up Raven, when she was finished she admired Raven's flowers more since they would go so well with the black. "I forgot that black coats go SUPER well with any color even with flowers!" Azealia said, then she gently started to groom Raven, she never did it before but Raven needed it in her eyes. When Azealia was finished grooming Raven, she got to everyone else and still continued to throw grass into the air, she felt like a wild filly again and enjoyed the wild coming out. Though she did finished grooming everyone and then stood a bit away as she started bucking and kicking randomly in the air while still throwing grass into the air. "I feel so alive now!" Azealia shouted as she calmed down, then she stood there in her spot, but when a random mare tried to go up to her she acted like a foal. The foal would always be steady and calmed but also nip and back away a little bit, then she ran around the herd at her fastest speed yet! Though when she entered the herd again and walked up to the same mare, she did it again but quickly calmed down and nibbled her forelock before returnint to Raven's side, she even groom Coyote for a change. |

Coyote looked at the flowers on her and laughed enjoying them. "Thanks for the flowers they are very lovely" she said with a warm tone. Coyote looked around admiring the udder chaos happening. She dipped her head down and laughed. "Excuse me for a moment" She looked at the river "Im quite thirsty". |

Raven joined Azealia in playful bucks and galloping across the soft grass. When Azealia tired and finished grooming the horses, Raven groomed the paint mare, her white shining bright. The midday sun gleamed of her coat and gave it that iridescent shine again. Raven eyes sparkled with delight. She was glad to be friends with this mare, she was really nice and they brought out each other's wild side. When Coyote excused herself Raven went to the river too. Seeing her reflection in the water, she was taken aback a bit. There were vibrant flowers, and Azealia was right, it did match well with black. She grinned, then dipped her nose into the water, sending ripples aross the surface. When Coyote bent her head down and took a drink as well, Raven splashed a spray of water on her nose, a mischievious glint in her eyes. |

"Thank You!" Mercy said, quickly grabbing some other flowers and decorated Azealia's back with them. " Now you look prettier!" Mercy said happily and nuzzled what appeared to be her new friend, Azealia. |
