"Oh, that's good." He rolled his eyes, chuckling. "And oh, I am? I had no idea." The stallion looked innocently at her. "Now, for real, you are okay? I'm sorry I scared you like that, I just wanted to know if you were another stallion or not." He smiled kindly at her. "Now that I know you aren't, I'm going to ask the same question that I would ask the stallion, but a lot kinder and with much more grace. Why are you here?"

"Yes, I'm okay. My ankle hurts a bit but I don't think it's broken." She says, moving her hoof to make sure it wasn't broken. "I'm sorry for being scared, It's just... sigh. You looked so menacing and, well, evil, I guess."

He winced. "Thaaaanks... I look... evil. Great." He looked slightly offended

"Anyway, I've gotta go. I'm really hungry, so..."
"And, sorry. I didn't mean to offend you."

He nodded, looking slightly sad. "Okay, yeah you should eat. I ... hope to see you later..." he murmured, walking away

"Yeah, okay. Bye." Lily shook her head slightly and turned, starting to walk away. - It was evening when Lily came across a cave, well sheltered and away from the oncoming rain. She lay down, thinking of the stallion she had met earlier that day. What was his name again? He never told me. Oh, come on! Lily was soon fast asleep dreaming of warm, summer days and the stallion, romping with her in the field.

The stallion laid down in a thicket, sighing. He wish he had the gut to go ask the mare if she wanted to hang out a little. He laid down his head and fell asleep
