Keefe opened his mouth before closing it again and letting out a small sigh, watching an ambulance pull in the stable yard. "I promise I'll take care of her." Was all he managed to say before he was unceremoniously shoved away by the paramedics. "Manners. Wow." He mumbled, walking quietly up to the horse and talking in a low, soothing tone. "Hey girl... c'mon, let's get you untacked." Keefe murmured, taking the reins and leading the horse away.

{Lottie Manchester} - She glared when the people pushed Keefe away "Hey watch it, He saved me" she told them and looked to the one that pushed him, She tried getting up but went right back down.

Keefe gently led the mare into the barn and untacked her before rushing back out. The paramedics hadn't gotten Lottie into the ambulance yet, so he took the time to worm his way through to her side. "Hey, you're going to be okay. And Vegas is fine, I promise, I'll take care of her. I'm sure you won't be gone for long." He offered a comforting smile before the people pushed him away AGAIN and got Lottie onto a stretcher, into the ambulance. Keefe watched the vehicle roar away with a slight groan. He hoped Lottie would be okay.

{Lottie Manchester} - She thought of Keefe the whole time she was being drove by the paramedics to the hospital while she layed there tired and hurt bad, She sighed as they placed her into a room for recovery.

Immediately after the incident Keefe plugged in his best practiced skill.. annoying people... and started calling the hospital. About forty calls and three hours later they told him Lottie was in the recovery room and up for visitors. Not that Keefe knew her at all, but he had suffered bad injuries before... and no one ever visisted him. That feeling of hurt was much worse than his injury. Keefe rolled his shoulder slightly at the thought, wincing before pushing it out of his mind. He took care of Vegas and told the mare farewell, even though he knew she couldn't understand. After that Keefe drove directly to the hospital, pretty much bursting through the doors. +What was her last name again? Ah yes, Manchester+ he thought, going to the clerk. "I'm here to visit Lottie Manchester? She should have been turned in about 3 hours ago." He asked, and got pointed in a direction. Finally finding the room and entring, Keefe saw Lottie looking drained and bored but very much alive. "hey there. How you feeling? Not that that question is helpful. Vegas is completely fine, though she seems to be missing you already." He explained, standing a few feet away.

{Lottie Manchester} - She heard a slight knock on her door and smiled when the person standing there was none other then Keefe the one who saved her, She smiled and looked into his eyes "Thank you for taking good care of my mare" she told him and sighed wanting out of this bed.

Keefe nodded slightly, leaning up against the wall and folding his hands. "You're welcome. It is the least I could do." He answered quietly, looking around. "Is there anything I can... do for you?" Keefe asked tentatively, taking a stab at the whole *being nice* thing.

{Lottie Manchester} - She looked to Keefe and smiled softly "You've done everything you could possibly do" she told him and looked at a photo of Vegas, She sighed and looked up at the hospital room roof and started crying would she be able to ride Vegas again or was she done for.

Keefe averted his gaze to look at the floor for a moment. He was bad at social interaction in a way that would make people actually like him... it came from being the son of rich parents. "Hey, it is going to be okay. I've... well... dealt with broken bones before and- well- the ways yours was broke usually heals nicely. I'm sure you'll be back out to the stable in no time." Keefe tried to offer help, but he wasn't the best at that. +++ (I'm going to be gone for the weekend. I'll try and respond Sunday!)

{Lottie Manchester} - She looked to him and nodded she was trusting him but not fully just yet she still wanted to know him better before he cared for Vegas, She smiled and looked into his eyes "Thanks".
