Caden Flores {:} M : Open - Cade woke up after 30 mintues, it was a wonder he had even managed to get any sleep with how cold it was. He slowly shifted himself up, his bones aching. He stumbled over to a rock on the ground and lifted it up. He crumpled the paper in his hand and stuck it under the rock. He pulled his sweater over him tighter and crawled through the small hole. He listened and watched, he couldn't see or hear anyone. He darted to the tree line, ducking behind a rock and once again checking his surroundings. He followed the forest till he reached the town. He sat there, scaning. Since there was a blizzard most of the clothing shops were closed for the day but some venders had left boxed out under their stalls. Cade's eyes locked on a box labled "Winter" in sharpie. He slowly crepted closer to it, ducking behind buildings and trees when he could. Once he got to the box he looked around, no one was near. He ripped open the cardboard, grabbing four paper wrapped bundles. He had no idea what was in them but four bundles of random clothes is better than none. He sprinted back to the tree line, running into the forest. He slipped on the snow and fell. He got up, breathing heavily. He couldn't see or hear anyone so he grabbed his bundles from the ground and walked back to the old house, squeezing inside. Once he was in he unwrapped the four bundles, saving the paper under the rock. The first bundle had a t-shirt, not useful. The second one had a pair of sweatpants, not bad. The third one had some black fabric in it which Cade carefully put aside and the fourth one had a sweater. Cade pulled the sweatpants on over his pants and slipped the sweater on. He ripped the fabric in half, putting half of it over his dirt spot and wrapped the other half in paper and set it on a rock.

Cecelia Marks (Open) - Cecelia huddled in the corner, another shirt draped over her legs. She closed her eyes and rocked back and forth. Hopefully no one would climb into the tree. She really didnt want to kill anyone. She knew that If the time came and it was life or death she probably would, but the thought didnt sit well in her stomach. How had she gotten roped into this horrible game anyway? She eyed her surroundings as the blizzard swarmed around the tree house. Maybe a lumber yard was nearby. Maybe she could find an axe or a knife. She would have to explore a little after the storm let up

Caden Flores {:} M : Open - Even though it was freezing Cade decided that he should take inventory of what he had. He glanced at the black fabric covering his sleeping spot. He walked around the small area, picking up some rocks and setting them on the edges of the fabric to hold it down. The walls did a pretty good job of keeping the elements out but wind and snow came in through the holes in the roof. Cade looked up, if he made a trip to the lumber district he could patch up the roof. The lumber district is four hours by foot and Cade can't spare that time. He dug a small hole in the ground where the floor had been worn away and grabbed his cash, the five papers, and the rest of the fabric. He put them in the hole and moved a large rock to cover it. Despite his second sweater he began to shiver as the wind picked up again.

Cecelia decided that she needed to find some weapons and more clothing as soon as possible. She tugged on the last of her clothes and shiver her cash in the pocket. She crawled out of the house and began trudging whichever way was easiest. After hours of pushing silently through the blizzard, she bumped into a building. "What is this?" She mumbled into the wind, her hair flowing in her face. "Is anyone in there?" She asked quietly though it was just loud enough for a possible person inside to hear.

Caden Flores {:} M : Cecelia - Cade froze as he heard someone outside of the small house. He wasn't ready to hurt anyone, he wasn't ready to die either. He glanced around, there was nothing he could hide behind. He quietly reached behind him and grabbed a small rock. He slowly stood up and looked around, trying to figure out where the voice came from. He stood in the middle of the empty room, praying whoever it was doesn't find the small entry hole.

Ivy Patterson|Open +++ Ivy stretched out her legs the sun beaming on her hair. She yawned softly but soon realised where she was. "Ughh.." she picked her body up and trudged through the new district she had found. So far it looked empty but she still kept silent just in case someone else was here. Ivy looked around and noticed a building that's door were wide open, she shrunk back into the dark shadows and slowly crept towards the building, carefully fitting through the tall doorframe. Inside the dark and dusted room laid weapons. "ah uh" she whistled pleased with herself. Reaching down she grabbed a small knife, everything else was rather rusty, "Well i mean this is a start". Turning around she walked quietly out from the creaking floor and back into the fresh air. She stumbled over a pile of tree roots and dived into the cover of a tree, was that a bird? The strange noise happened again she found herself sunking deeper and deeper into the hollow tree grasping the knife she had found. She paused and waited. Thoughts of having a parnter flashed through her eyes, it would be a lot easier.. but more dangerous.. Edited at May 30, 2024 01:58 AM by Hot 2 Trot

Cecelia Marks (Open) - Cecelia fumbled around outside, her hands trying to find something to grasp onto. The wind was picking up again and she was fins ding it harder and harder to stand straight. She found what felt like a door, but when she tried to open it it didn't budge. "What is going on?" She asked into the strong wind, her voice being carried away. She got down on the ground and crawled around the perimeter of the building just trying to find a way to escape the cold storm. +I should've never left the tree house!+ she thought. Just as it flew into her head, her hands found a crevice under the wall. "What? What is this!?" She shifted around again and found that the hole got bigger. "Thank goodness!" She said as she shimmied under slightly. She had gotten halfway through when she looked up. "Oh..." she started. "Please don't hurt me. Please Please please" she begged "just let me escape the storm please!" She noted the rock in his hand and shuttered

Caden Flores {:} M : Cecelia - Cade lowered the rock a bit, taking in the stranger who had entered his small hideout. "How do I know this isn't an act so you can attack me?" He asked, glaring at her. He had let his guard down for a second but quickly brought the rock back up, glaring at her. He did feel bad for the random girl though, he knew what it was to be cold. The storm seemed to be letting up, he would be willing to bet that it would be sunny the next morning. It was getting late and currently it was very cold outside. He didn't want to kick out this poor girl who looked just as scared as he felt but he also couldn't trust her. She could be trying to weaken him so that he would let his guard down and she could attack him. He didn't excpect to win by any means but he also refused to be the first one to go, he had to keep his guard up. Maybe he could make a trade with her? She might have food? She could be a valuble asset but he couldn't risk it.

Cecelia Marks (Open) - "I don't have a weapon. You have a rock. I'd lose even if I did have one because you could technically kill me right now" she said, her voice breaking. She hadn't thought about the possibility of losing. All she wanted to do was to safer,y get back to her aunt and uncle without having to kill anyone. She did NOT want a life lost at her hands. Her feet were starting to go numb and her fingers had a tinge of blue. "Please. I can't even feel my feet anymore" she pleaded

Cade thought about it. He looked her up and down, she had nowhere to hide a weapon so he did have the upperhand. "Fine. Come in." He lowered the rock but didn't take it out of his hand, he still kept it just incase she had partnered with someone who was going to attack him. "I have a t-shirt and some fabric, you can wrap it around your feet and hands."
