For the rest of the class, Elliot takes notes, paying careful attention, and as the bell rings, he shoots Leah a text, " Mind if I apologize in person?" He heads out the door going to the cafeteria.

He makes his way to the cafe, and looks over what they have. The selections boggle his mind as it's like an all you can eat buffet. He picks a few different things and a variety of desserts and sits at a quiet table to look for Leah.

{hey, just an fyi, i won't be on for almost a month.}

Elliot sees Leah come over and waits for her to finish to setting up before he speaks. "So, about before, what I said - that was way out in left field and I am truly sorry for saying what I did and the assumption that goes with it."

He hangs his head in shame, shoulders slumping as he continues, "I know it sounds like an excuse, maybe cuz it it is, but I was always told by some friends that that's what happens. I honestly didn't realize that it wasn't the case and well, what my friends said was a lie or they were tricking me."

Elliot looks over at her, pushing his tray towards her with the desserts. "If um, you want any of these, take it. I hope you won't hate me for this and I understand if you don't want to associate with me after this."

"I, umm, got most the desserts in mind for you, wasn't sure what you would like, so, please, take a couple - even if you save them for later." He fidgets in his seat , "If you still want me to come by, I'll try to. My 'dad' has pretty good hearing. If I can't make it, I'll text you."
