"Me?! I-I WHAT?!" Amber looks at him confused and can feel herself blushing "I don't...I never...done that!"

Amber looks at the floor with embarrassment

"I'm going to kill that dragon one of these days" she muttered

He was blushing really hard at this point. "Yeah, me either." He snorted. "Fire Storm was in on it, I'm sure. We can go kill them together after you heal and we finish dinner." He glared down at the deer corpse. "Maybe getting such a huge buck wasn't the best idea. Oh well."

Amber makes the hole in her dress where she was stabbed a bit bigger so she should see how big her wound was.

"was it deep? My wound I mean..was it deep?"
she touched her wound gently "it's healing alright, it's not so tender" she said through gritted teeth

He made a face. "I had to stitch ya up, but for stabbing someone the dude did a pretty shabby job. No vital organs were hit, your rib deflected the sword he stabbed you with. You're lucky - it was the lowest rib that blocked the blade. If he had stabbed you any lower, your organs below it would've been mush." He stabbed the deer, ripping off the skin violently. He was mad - not at Amber but at the dude who stabbed her. He had already forgotten the guy's name, and had given him the nickname of 'useless bastard'.

"Why are you so mad? I'm fine! Ikaris is dead, I'm alive it's all good" she said while shaking her head and cutting the meat

"Stop taking it out on our food, it won't taste as nice then" she joked

"I can still be annoyed that he hurt you, can I not?" He gestured wildly with his dagger as he spoke. Then he grinned. "I'm tenderizing it. How will that make it taste bad," he snickered.

"because your grubby hands have touched it all that's why!" She joked. She laughed a little bit stopped with the pain. "Stop with your dagger, the only thing your killing is me with how slowly your cutting up the damn deer!" She snickered "get a move on!"

"Well you distracted me," he complained jokingly. "And I'll have you know I actually washed these 'grubby hands'! The only thing on them is from inside of the deer." He grinned. "Speaking of which, I'm saving the intestines to throw at the dragons when they come back for teasing us earlier." He finished cutting up the deer and stuck a bit of meat over the fire - enough for him and Amber. The dragons weren't back yet, which meant Fire Storm would hunt for the dragons herself.

Amber smiled at him and watched as he cooked the deer. What did my dragon say this time?! Ugh

"Here" Amber took out a little bowl filled with black grain and sprinkled it on the meat. "It gives the meat more flavour, the villagers called it pepper..they gave it to me when I went to kill him"

Amber sits down again, poking the fire, adding more wood and she started to sing quietly
