Tigress awoke to the sound of hoofbeats and she saw Lilac aproching, she quickly got to her feet, dipping her head in respect to the alpha mare.

Farnight awoke, with the sound of the running stream in the background. He stretched his neck to a nearby piece of grass for some food. "Where's the rest of the herd?" he thought.

Arion smiled. She nuzzled Sultan. "Actually?" She asked, sort of shocked. Her mane flowed to the ground. Arion laid under the tree and relaxed, looking up at Sultan.

"Look please don't be mad at me Lilac, I can't help liking Wildfire. I didn't mean to ruin anything between you two, I just related to him and I felt comfortable around him." She began to explain the truth to Lilac. Edited at November 2, 2022 09:10 PM by Flying Chance Stable

Sultan smiled and nuzzled her back before he stepped back a little watching her lay down while he stayed standing. "Actually what ?" He asked in return tilting his head curious now as why she said that.

I'm back now! I've missed a lot but I've got it down :) Wildfire was mortified. Lilac had tore off like a tornado, and Tigress looked just as mortified as he felt. God, what had he done... He wanted to talk to them, both of them, but didn't know how, or who first, or maybe at the same time, maybe later? Too many questions, too many options. Wildfire fell to the ground in defeat. Was he turning soft? Weak? Isn't this how he felt when...when... no he wouldn't think of those times. He wouldn't let his failures and defeats weaken him. These things caused him to lose his touch of protection, didn't want to let down another herd. He was confused, frustrated. He sighed, dipping his head down, feeling his eyes starting to water. No. He lifted his head, got up and tried to seem defiant. He headed to the stream nearby, his first steps more like drags of his hooves. Then he picked up his head, picked up his feet, cleared his eyes, moved his ears forward, and moved across the small field. This gave him a bit more courage, hope to be strong, and to protect what he loved, no matter the complications or hurdles he had to jump, he would get to the finish line.
