He followed amber, staying close enough to catch her if she fell. He knew she was alright for now - at least as all right as she could be after being stabbed. "I'm coming, I'm coming."

Amber waited for Sage to walk in front of her a little bit and forgot how to walk for second, she tripped forward and grabbed Sages hand to stop her fall..which it surprisingly did

she smiled,embarrassed, and continued walking without letting go

"Only a little bit further, there's something I want to show you"

He was suprised when she grabbed him but didnt really mind. "Ok...what are you showing me, exactly?" He was blushing slightly because she was still holding his hand, and was genuinely curious about what she wanted to show him.

"It's a surprise!" She said excitedly. She starts to try and run but ends ups wobbling instead, half dragging him.

She stops suddenly at a random place in the forest "here we are"

She looks up the insanely tall trees to were there was rope bridges and little cabins up near the top, all decorated nicely yet it still blends in slightly to its surroundings.

He looked upwards, taking it all in. "What is this place?" He looked back at Amber, blinking slowly.

"A magical place!" She exclaimed with the biggest smile on her face. My grandma used to say " 'if you hear a voice inside you to follow the farthest star, Amber that voice inside is who your are'. That voice always told me I wanted tree houses and that's exactly what I built, tree houses..for me at first but it can be ours now especially during Winter"

There was a sparkle in her eye as she looked at what she built, she turned to Sage "the best part is you can't see it from the ground or from above so we will be totally safe! I know you don't like staying in the one place that often so that's why I said winter" by now she is holding both his hands with excitement.

"That's....really cool! A warm place to stay is always welcome." He was happy - not just because it was somewhere safe to stay, but because Amber was so happy. Her energy was contagious, and he found himself being closer to the good parts of life instead of just the bad. "I have to free some dragons tonight and then we can start doing whatever you need to do to stay here since it is getting colder soon."

Amber turned on the puppy eyes "can I go with you and watch? Pretty please!?" She pleaded but sorta knew what the answer was going to be

He sighed. "Oh, fine, you can stay with Fire Storm. Just promise me, no matter what happens, you are to stay where it safe." He knew what he was doing was dangerous and he didn't want her to get involved - she was already hurt enough.

Amber smiled smugly "you don't have to worry about me Sage, I'll just be killing men" she laughed and started walking badly back to camp "you coming Sage?"
