"Y-yes I'm fine..." Lilac mummbled. She looked at the ground, she knew she should trust this stallion, he also cared about her and how she felt. Lilac looked up, "Okay...I'm not okay, these past few days have been really hard, I dont want Wildfire to think I hate him...I dont and I dont think I could if I tried. I just need a break...its not helping we have to move tommorow morning...I just want to settle down somewhere, with someone I can trust...." Lilac paused not sure if she was telling him to much.

"Why don't you have a rest, settle down for a while, and ill take care of the herd. Make sure to eat, and have a lot of water." He said reassuringly. As Farsight trotted off, he thought about how much pressure Lilac would be under because of all this. He felt sorry.

Sultan stood there watching her before he looked back at the herd as he could hear from the others that they were moving he shook his head. "It's better to be on the move I guess so no preaditors come after the herd"

"That's true. I wish was could just find a place where there are no predators. Then I could finally relax for once." Arion gave a slight giggle. She looked up at Sultan and smiled. "Well, I guess we're leaving. I'm gonna head back to the herd. Wanna come?" Arion asked with a tilt of her head.

Flying Chance Stable said: Tigress watched Wildfire, walking aimlessly, a depressed and defeated look on his face, as if he had done something wrong. "No! He cannot take the blame for this!" She exclaimed. "Farnight I have to go!" She turned away from the stallion and headed towards Wildfire, he didn't even seem to see her, he just collided with her, they both collapsed on the ground akwardly. Her hoof got caught on his and her heart sped up a tiny bit. She quickly shook herself off and stood up. " Are you okay?" She asked him. "And I don't mean after falling over, I mean what's happening between you and Lilac." She wanted to play this like she hadn't overheard them last night, she didn't know if Wildfire realized she had overheard them. As she had explained to Farnight yesterday, she didn't want to rush things and she didn't want Wildfire to know she kind of liked him. He already had enough on his mind.
Wildfire blinked slowly, the fogginess still there. His head felt hazy, as if everything he had ever known had just...gone. He looked up slightly not knowing, nor caring at this point who it was. Or so he thought. When his foggy eyes met her bright, firey blue ones, it was as if a sun had come out on a cloudy day. The blurriness just. Went away. He remembered everything, but his brain was focused on one thing. This confident, bright, strong, beautiful mare standing in front of him. One thing threw him off though. She asked if everything between him and Lilac was alright. He had thought she'd heard their multiple conversations over it, the body language when they were near each other. But he must've been wrong. He didn't think she'd lie to him about overhearing something. And if she was, well, she had every right to want to hide it. Hadn't he hid many things from many horses? He slowly stumbled to his feet. "I-uh, Lilac-um, we-ahem, well-uh, no." He stuttered. He didn't know how to explain it, but knew that he wasn't ok. Maybe they needed to stay he another day or two. Let everything really settle down before they move again. This place seems pretty safe after the wolves were defeated. Calm. And beautiful. He should probably speak to Lilac about that. That might help her. But...maybe she would deny it, like the last time. He was sure Farnight would help him out... or hopefully. "Where, where's Farnight and Lilac." He figured Lilac was still wherever she had took of galloping to, but he hadn't really been paying much attention, had he? He huffed. This was very complicated.

Lilac started walking back with Farnights words in her head, she had exepted his offer on looking after the herd with Wildfire. She got to the herd and headed to the cave. This would be her last night in the cave...she saw Wildfire standing In the cave tending to the moss for the bedding. She decided to stay in the cave, she walked over to where she usually slept, she lied down keeping an eye on Wildfire. Her ears were pointed stiffly at Wildfire, indicating she was anxious. She hadnt meant to be so akward around him but she couldnt help it! She still wanted to be at least freinds with the kind stallion.

"Hey Wildfire, how are you doing? I haven't spoken with you for a while." Farnight neighed, as he walked over to him. Edited at November 3, 2022 06:42 PM by Luckshan Breeding

Tigress gazed into Wildfires clouded eyes, but when they met hers he seemed to cheer up, his red dun ears pricked forward, he seemed happy to see her. She pawed the ground lightly, she felt bad for lying to Wildfire. She dropped her gaze from him, she didn't do this often, she felt like it's was a submisive action and her personality was far from submissive. "I heard you and Lilac yesterday, I really didn't mean to, please don't be mad, but Wildfire, you seem really out of it, are you okay?" She hoped Wildfire would trust her like she had trusted him. Once again her mind flicked back to the fireflies, the lights luminating their faces, shrouding them in an eerie but gorgpus light, the two of them standing together, lost in the moment....for some reason her mind kept replaying that moment over and over in her head. She realized why, that was the first time she had truly trusted another horse again. She had trusted him to take her mind off things and he had, in the most wonderful, beautiful way. She glanced back up at his handsome face, looking into his eyes once again, going back to her confident, powerful self. Edited at November 3, 2022 06:54 PM by Flying Chance Stable
