Liam nods, "I'm so sorry" he says, looking down at her with such fear. "I shouldn't have let you go alone" he adds softly, holding her to his chest. His hands were trembling. He sniffled, holding her close. When he mentioned Evie, he froze. "I'm sorry" he apologized again. He then gently rested her down on the ground again and went to examine her horse. He spotted Rebel nosing Evie. "I know boy" he said to the stallion who was pawing the ground in frustration. He wasn't sure why she wasn't waking.It didn't seem like there were any major external injuries. Liam placed a hand to the horses's chest, trying to gage her breathing.

Katie tried to stand, but she could only sit at the moment. It was odd. She watched Liam anxiously, and chose to try to stand again. She succeeded, and limped ove to Liam, collapsing in his arms. She was trembling, and she was freezing. "She's okay, right? She's fine? Right?" Katie questioned him, scared for her horse. "I think you're right about Rebel and Evie. They make a cute couple... Where was everyone when you left? Still with their horses? Does anyone else know we left? We need to get back." Katie was tripping over her words, now feeling very embarassed for the fall. Responders arrived then, and they whisked Katie away to take care of her wounds, leaving Liam standing with the horses. Katie started crying as she thought about what she may have just caused. Her horse's death. Or near-death. Either way, her fault. She called to Liam, beckoning him over to her.

"I'm sorry for this mess. It's my fault and I shouldn't have gotten angry at you. I love you. More than anything." Katie explained to Liam. "I hope you know how to help her, because I don't know what's exactly wrong... Is she...Alive?" Katie was dreading the answer. Either way, her horse was hurt. She had shoved her past her limit. It was worse than wrong. She hated herself. With tears still streaming down her face, she told Liam where her bag was. "Where the grass had notches dug out of it, and there are wood shavings. Thank you. Love you." She couldn't say it enough. He is my love and hero. I couldn't ask for anything better. My miracle. When he returned with her bag, she grabbed him and kissed him so hard her lips hurt. "I love you." She said once more. She was still crying, but the tears had slowed. She hugged him tight, wishing they could sit here forever. Together. "Never leave me." She said.

"Evie's alive" Liam replies, confirming her heartbeat. As Rebel nudged her some more she woke. To Aston Katie as she began to panic about everything, Liam placed a kiss on her lips, stopping her rambling. "It will be okay" he said softly. Liam reluctantly moved away as the emergency responders took Katie away. Just before she was taken away, he blinked back tears. "Evie will be okay. I'll come once I get Evie back to the rescue. I promise" he says, not wanting Katie to think he was leaving her.

Liam gently pats Evie down, trying to find if she may have broken any bones. Rebel stood on standby, offering a comforting nicker in her direction as Liam assessed the mare.

Katie watches Liam as he pats down Evie. She sits and waits.

Liam doesn't notice any thing major, except when he touched her ankle. "She broke her ankle, but no other bones are broken" he tells Katie. "There's some cuts but all quite minor" he adds.

Katie exhales in relief. "So how does she get to the animal hospital? Or we can call the vet out because, honestly, she looks like she doesn't want to go anywhere." Katie enquires. She stands up and walks over to Liam, asking to borrow his phone. "I forgot mine in my little rant." She explains.
