"Due to things in the past, He's a light sleeper and i technically have a curfew of being in the house by10pm lights out by midnight" Elliot rolls his eyes and sighs, "He means well, but I'm about to be 18 soon."

" well you can tell him your staying at a friends can't you and I'll let you sleep on the couch I have in my room if you want"

"There's 2 problems with that-1, Curfew would still be effect, and 2, I don't have friends. I moved here like mid summer and was helping around the house so no time to make any friends" He shrugs and takes a bite out of a burger.

" if your staying the night with your friends then how would you come back home and two you just started school so now you do have friends, me" she said as she looked at the food on her trey and pushed her trey away

"Oh," he chuckles, "let me clarify- if I had friends, I still wouldn't be able to sleep over. It's sadly a no go." He blinks "Wait, what? You're wanting to be my friend?"

"I mean yeah sure, ok so how about I come to your house or you can come to my house after school and go home before curfew "

Elliot nods, "Yeah, i'll stop by your place after. I'll just let Dad know. He shouldn't have any issues with it."

She smiled and nodded " alright " she said

Elliot smiled at Leah , finished up his lunch before heading to his next classes. He texted his dad that he had made a friend and was gonna be back by curfew.

She didn't eat at all and just threw her trey away and walked to her next class, maths, of course the one subject she hated
