Suddenly, staring at Wildfire trying not to breathe she burst out laughing, it was hilarious. When she finally managed to mantain her giggles she looked back up, out of breath. "That---was----so funny!" She said trying to breathe normal again. Then a memory hit her, hard and fast, unexpected. She remembered playing with her brother in her old herd, his bay coat and perfect star shining in the sun. She had loved him, she had been so close to him. They had been taking a dip in the stream. Tigress rises her hooves and let them slam into the water, causing a huge wave to douse her brother. Being the kind older brother he was he snickered but only brought himself to send a small small her way. He had held his breath like wildfire before she sent anither wave his way. "Your so strong." He had whispered in her ear even when everyone else has thought she was weak. Her mind hopped forward in time, to that fateful day with the flood, she could still see her brothers caring brown eyes, flashing with fear as he was dragged away from her. "No!" She had yelled. She had trusted the herd to keep him safe, she had trusted her brother to keep her safe. None of it was his fault. But right after that fateful day, her parents played with her, they showed her kindness, she trusted them to protect her after that, first chance they got, they broke that trust, abandoning the so called 'weak' foal. If only they could see her now, what a strong amde she was, but she also knew she was broken inside. Tigress's brain dropped her back off in the present, somehow she had ended up lying in the ground, tears streaming down her checks, a somewhat afraid and concerned looking Wildfire standing over her. "I'm sorry," her breath hitched in her throat as she spoke. "I'm so, so sorry Wildfire." After she gathered herself she spoke again, "You just...you reminded me of someone," she let out a sad chuckle when she looked at his now semi-terrifed face. "It was a good memory, " she assured him. "Mostly..." "So are you okay?" She tried to change the subject back to him, but if his personality was as similar as hers as she thought it was, he would put her first and himself second. She figured he would ignore her question, but she hated feeling this sense of weakness around him. Yet, it felt as if she couldn't feel this way if any other horse was standing in front of her, so at the same time, it was comforting that he was here. Why did her thoughts have to be so confusing? Arion laughed and ran towards the herd. Everyone seemed do sad. The black mare decided to mind her own business. She grazed on the fresh green grass and looked over at Sultan. She smiled and looked down.

Wildfire had laughed right along with her, both of them gasping for air, not being able to stop. But then it was like she shut down, like she could see something he couldn't. She had stumbled to her knees, tears falling down her face. His expression immediately changed. Now he was concerned. What happened? Was she okay? He stood there, waiting for her to come back. He wasn't leaving just because he was scared, he couldn't leave her to come back with no one there. Wildfire watched her slowly come back, her eyes focusing back in. When she had said it was a memory, his mind immediately searched his memories. Had it been him had he done something? Then Tigress told him he reminded her of someone. Wildfire didn't know her past, and hadn't ever asked. By the way she said that it was mostly a good memory, he knew it was true, as her eyes were happy when she had first blurred out, then had fallen. She tried to change the subject, but he knew better than that. He wasn't losing another chance to learn about her, trying to just let her get away. He wanted to make sure she was okay before she asked if he was. He was fine, or for the most part. She needed to talk about this, he could tell. The last time he had made her take herself away from hiding, she had been calm, in the soft glow swirling around them. "You don't have to be sorry, and that doesn't matter right now, are you ok?" He helped her get up gently. He looked into her eyes, worry showing on his face, but soft, gentleness showing in his eyes. He wanted her to know that he cared. That she wasn't alone. From the cave Lilac was in she saw Wildfire and Tigress laughing. Lilac walked out of the cave, into the middle of the feild. She neihed telling the herd to llisten to what she had to say, "We will be leaving soon...gather your stuff, graze until you are full, we will need it.". She walked up to Wildfire, her ears were forward listening around her. "Wildfire, I need to speack with you...please, its about the move." Lilac snorted at the stallion, swishing her tail.

Wildfire looked back at Tigress concerningly. She hadn't answered him, but he would be back later, he needed to make amends with Lilac too. He nodded and walked with her, glancing back at Tigress a few times along the way. "What is it, because actually, I thought maybe we should stay one more day, just to be sure everything is calmed down." He gave Lilac a knowing glance. He tried to keep his body language confident and positive, so as not to give off the wrong signs.

Tigress wanted to respond to Wildfire but the words seemed to be stuck in her throat. She watched him walk away and he kept glanveing back at her, concerned. She knew it was time to move, and that meant protecting the herd. She took up position by the foals, so that no threats could get to them

Lilac nodded, "If that is what the herd an you want we will but it will be easier to do so now...the predetors will still be sleeping and the foals will have more energy. You are the beta of this herd, I will listen to what you have to say and come up with what we will do." . She wanted to listen to his thoughts on this, she might be needing help deciding...

Lilac didnt care about all of the drama right now, she wanted what was best for her herd. So that meant listening to her beta, he would hopefully help her come up with a desision.
