Wildfire was lost in the moment, his eyes welling up with tears. He was so happy she was sharing this with him. She explained her love for him, she was so open. He should be with her. Wildfire was glad that the connection he had sensed between them was real, that they had many similar things. "You helped me too you know. You showed me there was something worth loving and fighting for in life. You showed me that life wasn't as hard and cold when you have something to love." He looked into Tigress's blue eyes. So deep and full of life, such a story behind them. "You aren't alone in this. I hope you know that. I will be there with you every step of the way. Through thick and thin." Then Wildfire thought. He should share his story. She shared hers with an open heart and mind. He should share his. He looked at her, thinking about where to start. "I'm going to tell you my story. You shouldn't feel as if I'm closing you off when you opened up to me. I was in my fam-" A loud bang rang through the woods followed by startled neighs. Wildfire's head jerked up, his body tense. He knew that sound. He had watched that noise kill innocent lives. He jumped up. His ears back, his muscles quivering with anger. He couldn't let this happen again, not while he was here. He knew the sound had come from where their herd had ran to. Wildfire looked back at Tigress, her body also tense, her eyes showing fear. But her body was wrecked right now, she shouldn't be moving. He looked back towards the woods. He didn't want to leave her, but the herd...

"Wildfire!! Tigress! Where are you!?" Farnight shouted. They seemed to have disappeared. Where are they? Are they ok? At this point, the rain had entirely stopped, and the herd had settled down as they waited for the two horses. Farnight trotted over to the foals, resting and lying beside them.

I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but Wildfire and Tigress are like three miles away from the rest of the herd lolz

Lilac was freaking out, there was a scent of a mystery horse,the herds beta was gone an she didnt know where Tigress was. Lilac went up to Farnight, "I need to talk you you.". She brought the stallion around to the side of the herd. Her gaze shot up to his, "Farnight, something has happened to Wildfire and Tigress, I dont know what but I have a sense it is not good. Not to make things better, there might be a horse following the herd!", Lilac had just spilled all of her worries out onto this stallion, she hoped he wouldnt tell anyone in the herd...

Lilac went to the front of the herd, showing for the herd to stop and listen. "We are having some trouble, two of our horses,Wildfire and Tigress, are missing. Keep an eye out for them...I will be going out to search for them, I might be a while so I'm putting Farnight in charge. If you need anything go to him." Lilac looked around the herd to see them nodding. She trotted back over to Farnight, she nodded at him and then cantered off into the woods to find her lost herd mates.

Sultan smiled as he caught up with Arion but he made sude he stayed by Arion's side as they ran with herd as they were moving somehwere else. He stopped not caring how drenched he was from the rain it actually felt nice as he stood there and shook the water off. He watched Lilac run off but he looked back over at the foals and soon he layed down since the herd was told to wait he wanted to rest while he could.

Wildfire was interrupted by a loud bang. Tigress's body immediately went tense and she struggled to move. She needed to get up, she needed to help the herd. She gritted her teeth and tryed to stand up next to Wildfire, who was glancing between her and where the noise had come from. She didn't want him to leave her, she was defenseless. She stopped trying to get up because she knew the cut would break open again. Her muscles were sore from jumping the huge log and trying to make it over the flames. She wanted him to stay, but what if the herd was in danger. The herd was important to her. She was torn. What if the metallic bangs hurt the herd, how could she forgive herself for being selfish and making him stay, but yet, if she sent him and she died while he was gone, that would break him, and she didn't want that. Her brain was trying to find a compromise between the two options, but in her heart she knew there wasn't one. A choice had to be made, and either way, someone's life was at stake. Why? Why now? Why did it have to happen when she was injured? She felt weak, and helpless, but her brother had taught her to use that to her advantage.

"Go," she commanded. "You should go find the herd Wildfire. I can defend myself," she knew that wasn't true, but she couldn't make him stay, not when other horses could die.

Lilac continued galloping throught the forest, she stopped suddenly.

Had Myst been there when she left? She hadnt been, great Lilac thought, another horse to find. *crack*, Lilac quickly turned around to see a dapple grey stallion looking at her. She reared at him,her ears alert. "Who are you?! Have you been following me? Where did you come form?!" Lilac had so many questions and she dint think all of them would get answered. The stallion took a step forward saying "My name is Brook...I have been following your herd since you all moed from your main home. I have been watching you...not in a weird way though!" , Brook snorted. Now that he was closer to Lilac she could see he had some white markings and a scar on his back leg. Lilac was shocked, this horse had been following her herd for a long time, and nobody sensed him! She thought his scent was the one she noticed a while ago with the herd. "I have been wondering around, I saw where your herd mates went...at least I know where to start looking, follow me" the grey stallion looked at Lilac, did she trust this horse enough? He was really her only hope for finding her herd mates, all of the rain had washed their scents down. Lilac nodded and they galloped, heading deeper into the woods.
