Jackson Alex-Ren ~----------------------~ Jackson felt himself nodding off to her voice. It didn't help he was already drop dead tired. Not having eaten all day didn't help either. Nor did the warmth around him... Really, everything that was going on right now was putting him to sleep. He felt his eyes closing, his breathing evening to a gentle rhythm. He finally slipped asleep to the sound of CC talking... he was glad they were sort of acquaintances now. ~The next morning~ Jackson jolted awake at the sound of a bird chirping loudly near their cabin. He sighed. Of course. Taking a look around he noted that it was still pitch black out. Oh yay. Jackson looked at CC who was curled up on the couch, book clutched in her hands. He smiled slightly and slipped out from under his fluffy blanket. Instead, laying the blanket over CC. He hurried to his room, trying to stay quiet as to not wake Catherine. He scooted inside, breathing out in relief as he closed the door behind him. Okay... now to just find something to wear.

Catherine Bennett She noticed him nodding off, smiling softly. Does he feel safe enough to fall asleep with me here? After she made sure he fell asleep, she propped a pillow on his side and opened her book. She flipped it, reading for a bit, the chirping of occasional crickets filling the silence. She then quietly turned off the big lights, turning on a small lamp right on her side of the couch, just to dimly light her book. Occasionally, she took glances at him sleeping. He looked cozy and adorable to her, a small smile forming on her face as she continued to read. She was glad they were talking again, she felt, a lot better now. Soon, her own eyes began to flutter, and she turned the lamp off, before falling asleep with the book in her hands. Early next morning She was still asleep, as, one, she was a deep sleeper, and two, she had gone to bed a little later than Jackson had. Her body heaved slowly, breathing in and out as she slept, curled up with the book still propped in her arms. She felt the blanket faintly in her sleep, shifting herself and smiling In her sleep.

Jackson Alex-Ren ~----------------------~ Jackson shuffled around the cabin, having dressed. He was wearing jeans and a T-shirt now. He shuffled to the small kitchenette, looking around. He felt his stomach lurch and he gripped the counter, breathing hard. Nope. Nope. He clamped his eyes shut tightly. Please don't puke. Please don't puke. He begged himself silently. Not that his stomach had anything to puke. He didn't really feel like dry hacking over the toilet all day. He gulped, straightening slowly and gripping his stomach tightly.
Jackson glanced at the couch, staring at the sleeping CC... She looked nice... She'd definitely grown up. And it sort of hurt... She looked good. While he looked like an undead zombie over here. He sighed quietly in exhaustion. Jackson walked to the bathroom, reaching out and gripping the sink tightly. The cold ceramic pressed against his fingers. He closed his eyes. He begged himself to let it be over... He could barely move now without feeling nauseous or weak. Or he just felt tired and dizzy. Sometimes he got "lucky" and got all four...! He winced quietly, his reddened hands gripping the sink tighter. Jackson removed one of his hands from the sink, shoving his palm into his right eye, blocking any tears. Catherine Bennett She was still fast asleep, curled up and hugging the blanket close to her in her sleep. It faintly smelled like Jackson, she took an unconscious breath, taking in the scent. Her body slumped a little to the side, as she fell over completely onto the couch, still deeply asleep. A few minutes later, she woke up, her throat dry and wanting water. She was a little of a mess, as she stood up, holding the couch for support. The blanket was still around her shoulders as she shuffled down the hallway. The bathroom door was slightly open, and she accidentally stumbled into it, seeing Jackson. She didn't come in at the worst timing, but he was still hunched over the sink, "Jackson?" Her voice was raspy and quiet from just waking, "Are you okay?" She saw the sick looking expression on his face, her brows furrowing in worry, "c-can I give you a hug?- I know that's random but-" she trailed off, still looking at him.

Jackson Alex-Ren ~----------------------~ Jackson jolted at the voice but thankfully didn't spin around. He moved his hand up into his hair, trying to pass the movement off. He ran the hand through his purple curls and straightened, gulping down the bile that rose in his throat. He made a face as it burned his throat. Gross. Gross... Jackson twisted, leaning most of his body weight against the counter. "I... Uh... I probably don't give good hugs anymore-" He murmured. He just didn't want her to feel how skinny he was... Jackson knew she would ask what happened. And he didn't know if he was ready for that. But- he also did want a hug. He wanted a hug. He couldn't even remember the last time he received a hug...! Jackson looked away, staring intently at the shower curtains. It didn't help. At all. But it at least got his eyes away from CC...

Catherine Bennett She looked at him, carefully analyzing him. She could sense he was trying to brush it off. She tugged the blanket over her body more, contemplating on whether she should just hug him or not. She hadn't really had any hugs lately, especially being out at college, and living on campus. Plus, her parents weren't very physically affectionate people. You know what, fuck it. Hopefully he won't get mad.. Out of the blue, she wrapped her arms around his lower torso, the blanket engulfing them both as she gave him a big hug, her short frame against his tall one in a strong embrace.

Jackson Alex-Ren ~----------------------~ Jackson tensed at the physical contact. Shit. Crap. No. He was internally panicking as he let her hug him. It... did feel nice. He'd be lying if he said it didn't. Jackson scrunched his face up, begging himself not to cry. He didn't want to cry... not infront of CC.... He tentatively hugged her back, wrapping his arms around her shoulders and hugging her back. She's going to feel how skinny you are. He winced at the thought... (Sorry its short, im on a sort of half hiatus at the moment. I'll try to post as much as possible though.)

Catherine Bennett (Heya! No worries, I totally understand ^^ thanks for letting me know) The blanket was holding them both close, but almost creating a little bit of a barrier. Catherine faintly felt how skinny he was, but didn't want to say anything, it could be something sensitive.. She rest her head a little against his chest, slightly glancing upwards at him. After a few minutes, she tried loosening her grip just a little, since she didn't want to hold him in a hug too long and make him uncomfortable. Unfortunately the blanket had gotten tangled between them, as she fell forwards into his body and almost falling into the sink.

☆°Jackson Alex-Ren°☆ Jackson caught her as she fell back into hum, his back hit the sink and he winced in pain. Ow... his spine was not strong enough for that. He'd probably be bruised for a while. He helped CC back to stand up straight and straightened himself. He winced slightly as his weight pressed down, lower back aching. "Sorry..." He mumbled out quietly. He glanced to the blanket in his hand and held it out for CC to take. He looked away, rubbing his eyes to rid himself of the tear stains best he could. Hell... he looked so pathetic. Crying...

Catherine Bennett She took it from him, thanking him, but noticing him rubbing his eyes, her hand reached out to touch his face, hesitating, my hand hovering in the air. Is he okay? I- what do I do..
She thought, her thoughts conflicting. She held the blanket in her free hand while still contemplating what to do, she wanted to console him, comfort him.
