Peter tensed a little as he watched. It was obviously a difficult course but he knew Jules was a great rider.

She used all her power to turn the sharp turn to the right and almost immediately had to kick Trouble to gain ground to jump the short 3 strides to a double wide oxer.

Peter watched with a combination of excitement and nerves. Maybe more than when he himself was competing.

He fought with her wanting to go to faster, but she knew if they went to fast they would crash or not see a way out, She held him back and then let him fly over the first triple bar, the joker and then let him thrust his legs over the other triple bar.

Peter smiled as he saw them clearing the tricky fences. They were certainly doing well for a pair who'd been more focussing in Dressage.

She feared the water would sike them out, she prayed as they galloped toward it. She felt him tense but they were to close to the fence to stop now, she just hoped he would jump but prepared herself if he suddenly deicided to stop.

Peter bit his lip anxiously when he noticed Trouble suddenly seemed hesitant as they neared the water.

|
|
|
She felt him launch up, she was surprised when he ballooned it. "Come on boy you can't jump like that" she felt the impact as he connected with the ground, she kicked him faster and headed toward a wall. Peter smiled with relief as they made it over the water despite it looking as if the stallion might refuse. He continued watching.

She nudged him hard and asked for a big jump, the lunached up and over.
