Peter carried on watching them. He would've been more worried had he known that she wasn't experienced with walls.

She galloped toward the last jump and it seemed wobbly, the wind was hard today and she really hoped that jump didn't fall a part on her. She lunached up and as they were almost the the ground a strong gust blew the jump over. Trouble didn't freak till they landed but nor her or Trouble was harmed but he seemed freaked out by it.

Peter gasped. He was glad the jump hadn't hit either of them as it collapsed but he was concerned the obviously stressed stallion might rear again.

The speaker crackled, "Ladies and Gentlemen, that was Juliet Woods and Double Trouble..." the speaker stayed on as someone was talking but covering the microphone, the announcer came back on. "Due to the weather that won't be counted as a fault meaning that's a clear round for Ms. Juliet".

Peter cheered, causing his dog to look up in surprise. He was definitely proud of both Jules and Trouble. He just wished he could celebrate with them.

She smiled, wrapping her arms around the big horses neck happily. As they rode past the cameras she smiled and waved.
|
|
|
|
|
It was quite bittersweet for Peter to see her beautiful smile on the television. He wished she was smiling at him for real but there seemed no chance of that ever happening again.
|

|
|
|
She waited for the class to end and they start the placings, she unsaddled Trouble quickly and jogged him in with just his bonnet and bridle on. She made him square up and stood calmly at his shoulder. Edited at October 11, 2021 06:51 PM by Dancing In Air

Peter was eager to see how they placed although the clear round in itself was a big achievement.

"3rd.. go to Kevin Gibbs, and Small Whisper!" they get thier ribbon and they speak again "Second.. goes to Juliet Woods and Double Trouble!" She smiles so big that she thought her face would split she gives Trouble a big hug and takes the ribbon.
