Arion looked straight ahead and a flashback of her parents came to her. The last thing her parents said to her was, "I'll love you long after you're gone." Arion looked down sadly. She would never leave Sultan's side. The black mare nuzzled him gently and managed a soft smile.

Sultan stood there beside Arion thinking a bit but when she lowered her head he titled his head wondering what was wrong, He smiled when he started to nuzzle him causing him to nuzzle her back as his tail flickered.

Farnight decided now was a good time to roll, as he had a patch of dust beneath him that looked perfect. He bent his knees and rolled around, stirring up dust and coating himself. It was next to a big rock, and the trees next to him provided lots of shade. It really was perfect.

Arion gave a slight smile back at Sultan and nuzzled him for support. ... *Clashing teeth* "Arion, run! Get far away from here!" "No Mom! I can't leave you!" "Please, Arion! Now! I love you so much. Stay safe." "Dad... Ow!" *Crashing to the ground* "Arion!" "Mom, Dad, i'm okay!" "I'll love you long after you're gone, Arion!" *Growling* "Mom! Dad! NO!" ... I ran far away. Seeing my parents laying on the grass dead, made me mad, sad, and lonely. ... The black mare jerked her head up. Her breathing was hard. A tear ran down her face. Arion's tail swished in the wind as she turned her gaze back towards Sultan.

Tigress shook herself out of her thoughts and gently hopped to her feet, being careful of her injuries. "I think a stretch would be very beneficial," she smiled and nuzzled him, asking him to follow her. She trotted over to graze, bending her sleek neck to the grass. It tasted so green and fresh. It helped take her mind off any worries. Maybe there was a time and place for worry and fun and she just hadn't figured out a good balance yet. The flower in her mane fluttered in the wind and her blue eyes shown with delight. So maybe she could use some fun right now. She wished she could gallop across the field, but she didn't want to overdo it so she just reared up and playfully nudged Wildfire. "Come on!" she nickered. She did a light canter in a circle, throwing her legs in the air a bit, she felt like a foal at first, but eventually it just felt freeing. It was fun, and she hadn't had a ton of fun in the past few days, or weeks, or years for that matter, so she knew this was much needed. She thought of her brother again, and a wave for graditude hit her. She was so lucky to have found a horse like Wildfire. Edited at November 16, 2022 06:36 PM by Flying Chance Stable

Wildfire chuckled and trotted after her. He grazed beside her. The grass was so fresh and still had morning dew drops on it. He watched the rising sunlight reflect off of the droplets and smiled inside. It was beautiful. He glanced over at Tigress. Her eyes had a new life to them, they seemed brighter than they had been in the past few days. Wildfire turned his attention back to the field around them. The breeze was blowing the green blades against each other, creating a lovely hushing sound. He could hear the small stream in the distance, the ripples flashed peices of the bright sunlight all over, making it sparkle. The sun beams were extending over the horizon, flashing beams of light across the valley. Birds were chirping morning songs in the trees. He saw the burnt but still standing trees growing little green buds. Nature was so incredible. He was stuck in a trance until the chestnut nudged him. He glanced at her mischievously. She rared up and cantered in a loop around him. He smirked. She threw her legs in the air as she ran, a playful look in her eyes. He reared up a bit then threw his head, his ears pricked up and his eyes glowing with happiness. Neither of them had been this full of life in a long time. He watched her vibrant eyes, no longer dull, but the beautiful firey look was back. He nickered and cantered after her, his head and tail held high. As he caught up to her, he slowed down, matching her pace. He threw his head up and nudged her. They ran towards the rising sun, the shining beams skimming over and around them, the sun slowly climbing over the mountains. Both their eyes reflecting the shining light, they cantered happily across the plains. He felt truly free, and couldn't feel happier to be sharing this moment with the gorgeous mare beside him, her coat glowing in the sunlight.

The terror and fear in her eyes left Arion speechless. The black mare shook her mane and frantically looked around. The only true family she had left was Sultan. Arion turned her gaze towards the handsome stallion standing next to her. She managed a soft smile and went back to grazing.

"Yeah i'm alright now. I was just thinking about my parents. The day... they uh, died." Arion said looking at Sultan. "I don't want to die like that, before ever having a foal." Arion said. The black mare stood next to Sultan. Her mane gently blew in the light breeze.
