He layed ageinst the barn listening to the bitter cold wind wirl around as if dancing. He heard the distant sound of horse hooves and mumbled to himself " Don't she ever take a break?" he'd let himself slide down the barn t'll he sat on the ground. He was hoping to get some training in this morning but the early winds made Haze act other wise. He let out a sigh then opened an eye at the grey like sky.

She patted To who didn't seem to like the winds, "Easy buddy" she layed her hand on his hot neck. To snorted and looked around, she picked up a canter and started toward the jumps that were set higher then the practice ones. To slowed down a bit and Hailey squeezed and he pinned his ears and cat hopped over it, To hit the ground hard, "Ow To!" She pulled him to a stop.

He finally got up dusting himself off and walked in the barn. He went into the tackroom grabbing a few things he would need. He walked up to Hazes stall tapping the stall gently. She jolted up and shook some of the saw dust from her coat. "Finally awake?" He'd lean on the stall door waiting for her to back away from the door so he could come inside. Elliot walked in then tacked her up. He lead her outside into the training areas. He made her walk around so she could see what she'd have to do. She let out a soft snort as she began into a trot.

To snorted and shook his mane, Hailey sat their for a second then shook her head. "Let's try this again" she pulled him around and started to canter towards it again, she leaned into his neck and two-pointed over the meter jump, it was a split second and she came back down going around to do it a second time.

Elliot squeezed her sides then she quickly changed into a canter. He directed her into the brush fences. She shifted her weight to her hind legs, pushing herself up tucking her forearms under her belly. Elliot sank lower in his seat holding the reins firm.

To snorted and walked around, Hailey turned him towards the gallops which was a track that they used. She was nervous as To had never done this before and she could see the boy right next to them, "Don't spook that horse To and don't get me off" she took a breath and let some of the reins from her fingers letting To snake his head forward, she was even more nervous because she never did that but alas. To did a little rear, Hailey gripped him mane and squeezed his sides. To almost shot from underneath her, Hailey gasped but laughed as they surged forward.

Haze landed heavily almost falling. He held the reins back suprised, he made her stop gently patting her neck. "Calm down Haze" he made her turn back and trott around the arena once more but longer time. He wondered where he messed up but he couldn't dwel on it forever so he just readjust the leather reins in his hands.

To galloped faster and Hailey leaned into his neck, she galloped through the gate and started toward the meadow. To snorted and galloped faster meeting the decaying fence, she saw the boy travel toward this way this morning with his mare and hoped it was a good area to explore, they kept galloping.

He took one more round before going back into the brush jump. Haze took her speed into a canter tucking her head, shifting her weight to her rear, and pushing off while tucking her forelegs under her. She landed more softly but not soft enough. He praised her before her next jump. She landed a bit better again but the third jump she fumbled once more. Elliot let out a sigh " Lets just head to the next course" He pulled her from the brush jumps to the side lines.
